PRODUCT INFORMATION
Category of your car seat: i-Size booster seat from 100 – 150 cm. The
booster may not fit to all vehicles for the usage from 135 to 150 cm.
Position of your car seat: forward facing. The Cartesio can be used on
all i-Size approved vehicle seats (check the vehicle’s instruction manual) and
on seats of vehicles included in the “Vehicle compatibility list” given with
the child car seat. Using the ISOFIX system, you can fix the car seat to the

in combination with ISOFIX anchorage points in the vehicle seat, the ISOFIX
connectors can be stowed inside the seat and the seat can be used in

In-car installation
Position the seat inside the vehicle. Sit your child in the car seat. Adjust the headrest for your child’s height. The adjustable headrest is designed to be used as your child grows up providing maximum lateral protection. If the headrest of the vehicle is in the way, pull it out all the way or remove it completely. Remember to reposition the headrest on the vehicle seat if the child car seat is removed and the seat is used by a passenger
Feed the diagonal belt through the green upper belt guide in the headrest. Pull the car safety belt by threading the lap belt through the lap belt guides under the two armrests in line, and by threading the diagonal belt under the armrest on the side of the fastener buckle. Fasten the vehicle seat belt. Tighten the vehicle seat belt. Ensure that the belt is tight enough and not twisted.
3 point belt
Ensure the diagonal belt lies gently on the child’s shoulder and the lap belt is worn over the hips. If the diagonal belt lays across child neck, head or face, readjust head support height. Tighten the diagonal section of the seat belt by pulling it upwards until there is no slack and the belt holds the child firmly in place. To take the child out of the seat, simply unfasten the seat belt and take it out of the shoulder belt guide.
If your vehicle is equipped with Isofix anchor points, these should be used to obtain a more stable installation. These cars have plastic elements that guide the seat’s Isofix anchors into their correct positions. If your vehicle does not have these guide elements, you can use the plastic guides provided with the car seat.
Find the ISOFIX anchors. Extend the ISOFIX connectors from the car seat as far as possible. Line up the ISOFIX connectors with the ISOFIX anchor points. Click the ISOFIX connectors into the anchor points; the indicators on each connector should turn from red to green. Push back the seat against the vehicle seat. Ensure that the child seat is secure by trying to pull it out. Using the ISOFIX system, you can fix the car seat to the vehicle, thereby increasing your child’s safety. The child still needs to be secured with the three-point belt of your vehicle.
