INSTALLATION

  1. Turn OFF gas and electric power.

  2. Open cabinet and mark and disconnect wires from amplifier being replaced. Remove amplifier.

  3. Install replacement amplifier and secure using supplied screws.

  4. Reconnect wires to replacement amplifier as follows:
    a. For units with amplifier PN 260863 or 260864, wire connections do not change.
NOTE: The blue wire and the terminals in the kit are not used.

  5. Reconnect wires as marked.

  6. If installing amplifier PN 260863 on unit with option AG7, remove R55 resistor between T5 and T7.
    b. For units with amplifier PN 48035, 48036, 48037, or 48038, refer to instructions in Table 2.

Table 2. Replacement Amplifier Wiring Instructions

Option| Figure Reference| Step
AG7| Figure 2 , DETAIL A|

  1. Remove R55 resistor between T5 and T7.
  2. Connect wire terminal to each of nine wires and connect wires to replacement amplifier (PN 260863).
  3. Connect one end of new blue wire to T10 and other end to terminal block with blue wire from T9.

AG8| Figure 2 , DETAIL B|

  1. If there are two orange wires connected to T3, cut and splice wires before connecting wire terminals.
  2. Connect wire terminal to each wire and connect to eight terminals on replacement amplifier (PN 260864).
  3. Connect one end of new blue wire to T10 and other end to terminal block with blue wire from T9.

AG9, AG9H| Figure 2 , DETAIL C|

  1. If there are two orange wires connected to T3, cut and splice wires before connecting wire terminals.
  2. Connect wire terminal to each wire and connect to eight terminals on replacement amplifier (PN 260863).
  3. Connect one end of new blue wire to T10 and other end to terminal block with blue wire from T9.

NOTE: Unused terminals are not shown in Figure 2.
