FAQs

General questions about maintenance:

How often should I clean the filters?

We suggest at least every month. Pet owners and neat freaks nay need to do so more often. Tap any loose dirt off filters between washes as needed.

Insert the felt filter first and then place the foam filter on top of it

How do I store the machine?

If you have the Wall mount:
Use the included wall mount. Drill two 5/16″ holes and insert plastic anchors into the wall. Using a Philips screwdriver, screw the wall mount into the plastic anchors. Hook the catch on the bottom of the handheld vacuum onto wall mount. Plastic anchors and screws sold separately

If you do not have or want to use the wall mount:
Press the Wand Release button on the top of the wand to release the handheld vacuum. Align the catch on the bottom of the handheld vacuum with the storage hook on the wand. Slide handheld vacuum down so that the catch hangs from the storage hook.

How do I empty the dust cup?

Press the Wand Release button on the top of the wand to disconnect it from the handheld vacuum.  or remove the dust cup from the handheld vacuum by squeezing the two Dust Cup Release buttons on both sides of the base at the same time and pulling it out. Hold the dust cup over a trash bin and press the Empty button on the front of the dust cup. The bottom lid will open, allowing the debris to fall out.

Once dust cup is empty, close the bottom lid.

How do I remove and maintain the Soft Roller?

Slide the Soft Roller eject button up to eject the Soft Roller.

Use the onboard hair removal tool located in the compartment on the nozzle to clear away any hair/fiber buildup behind the roller housing. If needed, wash the Soft Roller using only water and let air-dry completely for at least 24 hours. DO NOT put the Soft Roller in the dish washer or washing machine.

How often should I clean my brushrolls?

We recommend doing a visually inspection of your brushroll periodically. If you notice any debris or hair build up then the brushroll would need to be cleaned.

General Questions:

What is the story and technology behind “Never Loses Suction”?

Never Loses Suction is an advanced cyclonic technology that separates fine dirt from the air, preventing dirt from clogging the filters and keeping suction power strong over time. The vacuum maintains its suction power so you never lose cleaning power.

How do I assemble the vacuum?

Insert the wand into the motorized floor nozzle connector until it clicks into place.

Insert the handheld vacuum into the top of the wand until it clicks into place.

Will the lights burn out?

The LED lights in the nozzle and hand vac should not burn out.

Why is the Shark Rocket Complete with DuoClean better than traditional

vacuums?

The Shark Rocket Complete is equipped with DuoClean Technology. Instead of a single brush bar, it has two brushrolls engineered to work in unison, removing large debris and fine dust particles from all of your floors and carpets.

How do I open the brushroll garage to remove the brushroll?

To open the brushroll garage, simultaneously push on the two brushroll access buttons on the top of the floor nozzle.

The brushroll garage door will pop open. Remove the brushroll by lifting up on its PULL tab.

Use the included hair removal tool to pull hair and debris off of the brushroll. Insert the brushroll back into the garage by inserting the right side first and then pushing the left side down. Close the brushroll garage completely before using the vacuum.
