tp-link Archer D2 Router Fibre Configuration
Using your own router? No worries, we’ve got you covered!
Log into the gateway
- Connect your device to the router (preferably via cable)
- Open a web browser
- Type the following in the address bar at the top: 192.168.1.1
- Default Username: admin
- Default Password: admin
- This should then give you access to the router’s User Interface
If the password is incorrect you will need to factory reset the router by pushing and holding the ‘Inset Reset’ button for 10 seconds.
How to add correct settings for the Mercury network
- From the top menu select ‘Advanced’
- From the left menu select ‘Operation Mode’
- Select ‘Save’ – the router will now reboot
- From the top menu select ‘Basic’
- From the left menu select ‘Internet’
Ensure the following settings are changed
- ISP List – ‘Other’
- Connection Type – ‘PPPoE’
- Password – ‘password’
- Select – ‘Save’
The router will now reboot once again. When it reconnects, you should be connected to Fibre!
