USAGE
The ventilator inserts are used for targeted heat extraction from assemblies in stationary locked switching cabinets of protection class I. The device is suitable for indoor use only. Safety instructions
- The installation may only by performed by qualified electricians in compliance with the nationally-applicable power supply guidelines (IEC 60364).
- The protective measures in accordance with VDE 0100 must be ensured.
- The technical specifications on the type plate must be observed.
- No changes or modifications must be made to the device.
- In case of apparent damage or malfunction, the device may not be repaired or put into operation. (Dispose of device.)
Installation instructions
Ventilator inserts are intended for installation on the 19 inch guide frames. Ventilator inserts can be screwed on the front using suitable fixing material (depending on the switching cabinet). We recommend mounting rails for improved installation (see image).
Function
The ventilator inserts provide continual circulation of the air so as to reduce the number of heat pockets in assemblies. We recommend the use of an external controller for versions without an integrated controller.
