Information about the device

The water tank should be cleaned every three days. The filter should be changed regularly. Replacement period: approximately 6 months.

WARNINGS

  1. This device can be used by children aged 8 years and older, and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or without experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the risks involved.
  2. Children must not play with the device. Unsupervised children should not clean or perform maintenance on the device.
  3. Disconnect the device from the power source when filling and cleaning the device.
  4. Micro-organisms that may be present in the water or in the room where the device is used or stored can grow in the water tank and enter the air, causing very serious health risks if the water is not changed and the tank is not cleaned.
  5. Change the water and clean the tank every 72 hours to prevent the proliferation of micro-organisms in the water or the environment in which the humidifier is used and/or stored.
  6. Be aware that high humidity promotes the growth of biological organisms in the surroundings.
  7. Do not repair or modify the humidifier. These operations may only be performed by an authorised service centre.
  8. Use only original or manufacturer-recommended spare parts.
  9. Do not switch on the humidifier if you notice any damage. This applies to both the cable and the plug. Do not use the humidifier if it starts to malfunction, has been dropped or has become wet.
  10. If the humidifier emits unnatural sounds or smells – switch it off immediately and then contact the manufacturer’s service department.
  11. If the humidifier is not used for a long period of time, unplug it and pour the water out of the tank.
  12. Empty and clean the humidifier before storage. Clean the humidifier before the next use.
  13. The humidifier is suitable for domestic use only. Do not use it outdoors.
  14. Place the humidifier on a flat, horizontal and stable surface in an upright position. Avoid tilting.
  15. Never leave the humidifier connected to the power socket unattended.
  16. The humidifier is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it.
  17. Do not pull or carry the humidifier by holding the cable. Do not place any objects on it. Do not pull the cable over sharp edges of walls and furniture and do not coil it too tightly after use.
  18. After each use, disconnect the humidifier from the power source by pulling the plug, not the cable.
  19. When the humidifier is running, do not touch the water in the humidifier or any component under the water.
  20. Do not use the humidifier when the water tank is empty.
  21. Do not add detergents, alcohols, chemicals or fragrances to the water tank, otherwise this may damage the tank. Always use fresh cold water.
  22. Do not insert any objects into the openings of the device, as this may cause an electrical short circuit or permanent damage to the device.
  23. For hard running water, demineralised or filtered water should be used in the device.
  24. Never pour oil directly into the water tank. Only natural essential oils should be used.
  25. Use the humidifier away from heat sources, high temperatures, hot surfaces, direct sunlight, sources of sparking, open flame.
  26. To avoid moisture build-up and the breeding of bacteria, keep the humidifier away from household items such as carpets, tablecloths, curtains and furniture. If there is moisture in the vicinity of the device, reduce the selected humidification level.
  27. Do not use chemicals to clean the humidifier.
  28. Do not use the humidifier for any purpose other than that for which it was designed.
  29. . Do not move or relocate the humidifier when there is water in the tank or when the humidifier is switched on. Do not carry the humidifier by holding the top of the humidifier.
  30. Do not leave water in the tank for long periods of time, as this can lead to the proliferation of bacteria.
  31. Do not remove the water tank when the humidifier is switched on.
  32. WARNING – This appliance contains a UV emitter. Do not stare at the light source.

Warning! The remote control contains button batteries that can cause serious internal chemical burns if swallowed.

Warning! Dispose of used button batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you suspect that batteries have been swallowed or placed in any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Assembly and operating manual

  1. Connect the two base pieces (13, fig. A) by inserting the tabs into the corresponding openings (fig. B). Place the water tank (12, fig. A) and the device body (6, fig. A) on the base, attaching the suction pump (8, fig. A) to the base. Make sure there are no objects in the water tank.
  2. Insert the inner lid (5, fig. A) into the body of the device.
  3. Pour water into the inner lid at the place marked 1 in the picture C. Never pour water into the steam outlet (2, fig. C).
  4. Place the lid (4, fig. A) and connect the device to the power supply. Press the switch (1, fig. E) to switch on the device. Press the switch again to switch off the device.
  5. To change the direction of the escaping steam, move the caps in the lid as preferred (fig. D).

Note! If there is insufficient water or the lid is missing, the display will show a red flashing icon of a crossed-out water droplet.

The information on the display will appear in the following order: detected air humidity, humidification level, room temperature, timer (if set).

Control panel description

  1. On/off switch
    Press this button to switch the device on/off.

  2. Automatic humidification level setting
    Press this button to set the level of humidification the device will run until it reaches, after which it will switch off automatically. The settable range is 40%to 90% humidity. Measurement accuracy is +/-5%. The display will show the current humidification level after a few seconds.

  3. Humidification intensity
    Press this button to adjust the intensity of the steam and select one of three humidification levels.

  4. UV
    Press this button to activate the sterilising UV lamp, which neutralises harmful bacteria and germs in the outgoing steam. At the bottom of the display, the message “UV” will appear.

  5. Timer
    Press this button to set the time after which the device will switch off automatically (from 1 to 12 hours).

The above functions can also be activated via the remote control.

Aromatherapy function
To use the aromatherapy function, press in and slide out the essential oil container (9, fig. A) and then drop the chosen oil into the diffuser. Insert the container, connect the device to a power source and press the switch. Only natural essential oils should be used.

Sleep mode
To activate sleep mode, press and hold the switch (1, fig. E). The display will switch off and the device will continue working. To switch off the sleep mode, press and hold the switch again. The above function can be activated using the remote control or the control panel.

Troubleshooting

Cleaning and descaling

  • Clean the humidifier regularly to prevent the growth of bacteria in the tank and in the base and to ensure its long-lasting and efficient operation. Make sure the device is unplugged and cooled down before cleaning.
  • Wipe the outside of the humidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Leave it to dry.
  • When limescale appears in the water tank, clean the tank using a 1:1 solution of vinegar and water. Fill the tank at least halfway and stir the solution to cover the entire interior. Rinse with water and leave it to dry.
  • Empty the water tank. Make sure all parts are completely dry. Store the humidifier in a dry place.

The product complies with requirements of EU directives. Pursuant to the Directive 2012/19/EU, this product is subject to selective collection. The product must not be disposed of along with domestic waste as it may pose a threat to the environment and human health. The worn-out product must be handed over to the electrics and electronics recycling center.
