Overview
Thank you for purchasing the NUX MIGHTY PLUG PRO, since the release of the original MIGHTY PLUG, this kind of versatile amp modeling amp-plug became a new trend. And now, the MIGHTY PLUG PRO offers even more versatility and tones. The MIGHTY PLUG PRO provides a variety of effects for electric guitar and bass guitar including amp modeling and cabinet IRs. It also comes with acoustic amp modeling and acoustic IRs to let you simulate acoustic guitar sounds. You can also load 3rd party IRs through Mighty EditorTM edit software to expand your tones. (You can load any WAV format IRs, Mighty EditorTM will convert to 32bits/48kHz onto the device automatically.)
Note: There are 34 default IRs, and user IR slots are 20 (from 35 to 54). You can customize the presets through the Mighty AmpTM APP (mobile) or Mighty EditorTM edit software (PC). Changethe effect blocks’ order? Absolutely! You can do lots of things with this intuitive interface!
The Mighty AmpTM APP and Mighty EditorTM editor software can let you tweak all
the signal blocks and parameters. The MIGHTY PLUG PRO offers GATE, COMP, EFX,
AMP, IR, EO, MOD, DLY and RVB, you can adjust the block order freely. In
addition to the 34 built-in IRs, there are 20 empty slots for 3rd party IRs
loading. The Mighty EditorTM edit software will convert the WAV(IR) sample

and APP experience.can be used as a USB recording interface. It supports
Normal / Dry Out / Re-amp / Loopback routing, you can adjust it through the
Mighty AmpTM APP or Mighty EditorTM edit software intuitively, no need to
setup USB OUT in DAW. You can livestream your jam sessions with Loopback!
POWER/MUTE button
Hold the POWER/MUTE button for 2 seconds to turn on the device. While the
device is engaged (the PRESET switch indicator will also turn on), short press
the POWER/MUTE button can mute the headphone out, in the meantime the PRESET
switch indicator will flash.
VOLUME ± buttons
While the device is engaged, you can press the VOLUME + button to increase the
headphone volume, or press the VOLUME — button to decrease the headphone
volume.
PRESET switch & indicator
While the device is engaged, you can press the PRESET switch to change the
preset from 1-7. The indicator will show different color related to different
presets.
Note: You can adjust which preset can be ACTIVE while you press the
PRESET switch through Mighty An1pTM App or Mighty EditorTm edit software.
(ACTIVE function)
Mighty Amp”‘ App example: Choose preset 1, 3, 5, 7 and press Active icon,
then the device will know preset 1, 3, 5, 7 will be chosen while you press the
PRESET switch.
Control Panel & I/O Jacks
1/4″ (6.35mm) phone plug
Sturdy and flexible plug that can fit into all kind of guitar and bass
securely. It is compatible to use without blocking the whammy bar on
Stratocaster type guitars.

BATTERY indicator
While you connect the included USB-C cable to the device with PC or charger,
it will charge the device, and the BATTERY indicator will show “Green” while
charging. When the battery is full, the BATTERY indicator will turn off. When
the device is running out of battery power, the BATTERY indicator will flash
“Red”.
Note: The charging time is around 2.5 hrs. Operation time is around 5
hrs.
App indicator
While the Mighty AmpTM App connects with the device, the App indicator will
turn on “Blue”. To Operation: Launch the Mighty AmpTM App
on your mobile phone, and press “Settings” to choose “Current Amp” as “MIGHTY
PLUG PRO”, then “click to scan devices”. When the APP finds the “MIGHTY PLUG
PRO”, click it, the App will connect with the device. In the meantime, the App
indicator will turn on “Blue”.
Note: The App is using Bluetooth MIDI to communicate with the device.
Note: For Android OS, you may need to turn on GPS permission. Privacy
Note: We do not use your GPS to track you. Where you want to play music
is your business, not ours!
Applications that scan for Bluetooth devices must request permission in the
manifest file.
This LOCATION permission is required because it may be possible to guess
the location of an Android device by seeing which BILE devices are nearby.

AUDIO indicator When a mobile phone or other player connects with the
MIGHTY PLUG PRO’s Bluetooth audio, the AUDIO indicator will turn on “Blue”.
Operation: After the App connected with the device, you can connect via
Bluetooth Audio from “Settings” on the mobile phone to play audio stream.
Click “Settings” on the mobile phone. Enter “Bluetooth”, and choose “MIGHTY
PLUG PRO”. Once connected, you while you connect MIGHTY PLUG PRO’s Bluetooth
audio, you will hear a hint sound from the headphone out.
Note: The Bluetooth audio and Bluetooth MIDI are independent, you have to connect them separately.
RESET port
If your MIGHTY PLUG PRO freezes while operating, you can press the RESET port
to reboot the device.
1/8″ (3.5mm) stereo headphone output
Connect your headphone and get great silent practice experience with MIGHTY
PLUG PRO. Note: The headphone out also supports TRRS earbuds with mic or
headset with mic. You can engage the MIC via the Mighty AmpTM APP or Mighty
EditorTM edit software while “live streaming”.
Note: Once activated, the microphone signal can streamed via USB audio.
If you want to play audio (Bluetooth audio or PC’s audio playback) via USB for
live streaming, please choose Loopback on the USB routing.
Operation:
Mighty AmpTM App Click “Other” and press the Microphone Settings’ ****icon.
Click “Settings” and choose USB Audio Setting, then choose “Normal-LoopBack”.
Mighty EditorTM edit software
Click the Bluetooth icon to display the Microphone Settings and Bluetooth
Settings. Click the (I icon on Microphone Settings to engage the MIC.
Click the 0 icon and choose “Loopback” in “Routing Mode”.
USB-C port The USB-C port is used to charge the device, access the
Mighty Editor”‘ edit software communication,
USB audio stream, and Firmware updates. Charging time: around 2.5 hrs, the
built-in battery is 3.7V / 1450mAh. You can charge the device by PC or 5V USB
charger. Recording: For WIN OS, please go to the product page to download ASIO
driver for recording. For MAC OS, the device supports CORE AUDIO, so there is
no need for an additional driver.
Firmware Update: Connect USB with PC, hold the PRESET switch and turn on the
device by pressing the POWER button to enter DFU (Device Firmware Update)
mode. Then use the DFU updater software to update the firmware. (You can get
the firmware and firmware update guide on the product page.)
Connections
Silent Practice: Plug the MIGHTY PLUG PRO into your guitar, put on the headphone, and rock out without disturbing your neighbors. Jam with backing tracks through mobile device via Bluetooth audio stream.
Recording: By connecting to your PC via USB, the MIGHTY PLUG PRO can be a recording interface. It’s a portable recording and practice tool while you are touring.
Live Stream with MRS Headset or Earbuds with mic: MIGHTY PLUG PRO’s phone out supports TRRS headset or earbuds with mic. Choose Loopback USB routing, you can do live streaming with your PC or mobile phone (USB On-The- Go).
Mighty AmpTM App & Mighty EditorTM
You can check the MIGHTY PLUG PRO tutorial on NUX EFX YouTube channel for more details. The Mighty AmpTM APP allows you tweak parameters, move block order on the mobile phone. Additionally, you can set Events on JamTrack or load custom tracks into your phone through the PC. The Mighty EditorTM edit software can load 3rd party IRs and you can tweak parameters for all effects. Use the editor to change the order of the effect blocks, and export or import presets.
