Safety Notes

Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:

  • Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags may become a deadly toy for children.
  • Keep the lamp out of reach of children. The lamp is not a toy.
  • Do not stare directly into the LEDs and do not direct the light beam towards people or animals.
  • Do not use devices which can strongly focus light for viewing the light beam.
  • If you do not plan to use the lamp for some time, remove the batteries.
  • Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Do not mix rechargeable batteries and nonrechargeable batteries and use only batteries of the same type.
  • Notice: UV radiation is emitted from this product.


Batteries and rechargeable batteries do not belong in household garbage.

For battery disposal, please check with your local council.

Operation

Inserting/Replacing the Batteries

The lamp is powered by three batteries of the type LR03 (AAA). The battery compartment is integrated into the bottom of the lamp. Replace the batteries when the light gets weaker.

  1. Turn the base plate slightly counter clockwise and take it off the lamp.
  2. Insert three new batteries of the type LR03 into the battery compartment. Pay attention to the proper polarity of the batteries. The polarity is printed inside the battery compartment. Reattach the base plate and lock it in place with the bayonet latch.

Operation

You can set the switch on the back side of the lamp to the positions ON, OFF and AUTO. In the ON Position the lamp is turned on continuously, in the OFF Position the lamp is turned off.

In the AUTO Position the lamp turns on in darkness (<8 lux) as soon as the motion sensor is triggered and remains on for approximately 30 seconds after the last motion has been detected.

With the magnet at the bottom you can stick the lamp to any magnetic surface.

Cleaning and Storing

  • Clean the lamp only with a dry or lightly moistened cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
  • Do not immerse the lamp in liquids of any kind.
  • Store the lamp indoors in a dry place that is protected from dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
