Your Amica appliance is exceptionally easy to use and extremely efficient.
Before being packaged and leaving the manufacturer, this appliance was
thoroughly checked with regard to safety and functionality. Before using the
appliance, please carefully read these Operating Instructions

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

To avoid the risk of serious injury when using your meat mincer, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS, SAFEGUARDS, AND -
WARNINGS BEFORE OPERATING MEAT MINCER There is a potential injury from misuse. Please handle it with care.

Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of children reach.

Be careful when handing the sharp cutting blades, and during cleaning.

Do not insert your fingers in the metal drum while a the appliance is running.

Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.

If the supply cord is damaged. it must be replaced by the manufacturer. its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Do not use your fingers or an object (e.g. a spatula)to push ingredients into the hopper while the appliance is running. Only the pushers are to be used for this purpose.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- Farm houses;
- By clients in hotels, motels and other residential-type environments;

Make sure you fully assemble and lock the hopper be- fore putting in the worm shaft, blade and screen into the feeding tube.

If the fixed ring has not fixed tightly, do not start the ap- pliance.

If Fixing ring becomes loosely, please stop working and cut off the power source.

This conforms appliance to EC Regulation 1935/2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older or by persons with physical, mental or sensory handicaps, or by those who are inexperienced or unfa-miliar with the appliance, provided they are supervised or have been instructed how to safely use the appliance and are familiar with risks associated with the use of the appliance. Ensure that children do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should not be performed by children unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised by a competent per-son.

Please remember to respect the local regulations: hand in the non-working electrical equipments to an appro-priate waste disposal centre. The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the packaging in an environmen-tally friendly manner and make it available for the recyc- lable material collection-service.
After the knife and screen are cleaned, the surface can be coved with cooking oil to prevent they rusting. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTION. -

Caution:
Ensure that the meat mincer is switched off before removing mincer hand. -
Before you connect the appliance to the mains, make sure that the appliance is assembled correctly. Always switch the appliance off by pressing the O/I but-ton.

Do not exceed the maximum operating time of 10 minu-tes at all applications.

The failure to follow any of the important safeguards and the important instructions for safe use is a misuse of your meat mincer that can void your warranty and create the risk of serious injury.
Electrical requirements
Make sure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate corresponds to the
electric power parameters at home, power must be marked as ~ (alternating
current).
DISPOSING/SCRAPPING OF USED EQUIPMENT
UNPACKING During transportation, protective packaging was used to protect
the appliance against any damage. After unpacking, please dispose of all
elements of packaging in a way that will not cause damage to the environment.
All materials used for packaging the appliance are environmentally friendly;
they are 100% recyclable and are marked with the appropriate symbol.
Important! Packaging materials (bags, polyethylene, polystyrene, etc.) should
be kept away from children during unpacking.
DISPOSAL OF OLD APPLIANCE
In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU and local legislation
regarding used electrical and electronic goods, this appliance is marked with
the symbol of the crossedout waste container. This marking indicates that the
appliance must not be disposed of together with other household waste after it
has been used.
The user is obliged to hand it over to waste collection centre collecting
used electrical and electronic goods. The collectors, including local
collection points, shops and local authority departments provide recycling
schemes. Proper handling of used electrical and electronic goods helps avoid
environmental and health hazards resulting from the presence of dangerous
components and the inappropriate storage and processing of such goods.

OPERATION
Mince meat (Fig.4-1)
Before you use the appliance for the first time, thoroughly clean the parts
that come into contact with food. Before you start, make sure you as-semble
according to Fig. 2-1.
For disassembly, refer to Fig. 3-1.
Note:
- Never grind bones, nuts, or other hard items.
- Never use frozen meat! Before you grind the meat, defrost it first.
- Do not overload the appliance by pushing too much meat into the feeding tube.
- You can select the appropriate grinding screen for the preferred granularity of minced meat.
- You can also grind more than once for finer texture.
- Remove bones, gristle, and sinews out of the meat as much as possible.
- f the hopper is stuck, switch off the appliance and then switch it to Reverse mode to clear the stuck stuff.
Make sausages (Fig.4-2) Before you use the appliance for the first time, thoroughly clean the parts that come into contact with food. Before you start, make sure you as-semble according to Fig.2-2. For disassembly, refer to Fig. 3-2.
Note:
- Make sure that the projections on the feeding-tube align with the notches of the motor.
- Do not block the air outlet grooves of the sau-sage horn.
- Do not make the sausages too thick in case the sausage skin is overstretched.
- Keep the sausage skin wet to prevent it from sticking on the sausage horn.

ABNORMALITY ANALYSIS AND HANDLING
Abnormality Handling
- In case of abnormalities such as ab-normal noises, smell, smoke, etc., you should immediately cut off power and stop use.
- If the product cannot work, please check if the power supply is connected, if the switch is put to the ON position and if fittings are installed in place.
- If the product still cannot work after checks mentioned above, please con-sult the designated repair centre for maintenance.
Motor doesn’t start or Cutting knife doesn’t
rotate.

• Motor Overload Protection may have operated (see Overload Protection).

Safety system
- This appliance is equipped with motor themal protector. If the appliance overheats, it swit-ches off automatically. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down until room temperature then put the mains plug back into the power outlet and switch on the appliance again. Please contact your dealer or an authorized service center if it is activated too often.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before you use the appliance for the frst time, thoroughly clean the parts that come into contact with food.
- Before you remove accessories or clean the motor unit, switch off and unplug the appliance.
- Do not immerse the motor unit in water nor rinse it under the tap.
- Do not clean the metal parts in a dishwasher.
- Clean the main unit with a moist cloth.
- Wash removable parts with a soft brush in soapy water, rinse them with clear water, and then dry them with soft cloth or tissues immediately.
- Long time no use, Please use cooking oil paint the surface of the screen and knife. Lightly brush the metal parts with fat or oil to prevent rusting.
- The motor will be damaged if it can’t rotate to reverse function immediately when using forward rotation function.
