WARNINGS

  1. Make sure that the appliance has not been damaged in transit.
  2. This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children from the age of 8 may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision.
  3. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8 years.
  4. It is forbidden to place food directly on the surface of the appliance!
  5. Only place dishes on the hot plate, the manufacturer of which specially permits such ways of use!
  6. Do not place glassware on the hot plate!
  7. Only place the appliance on a solid, horizontal surface.
  8. Keep the minimum placement distances shown in Figure 2! Observe the safety regulations in force in each country.
  9. The appliance must not be used with programmable timers, timer switches or stand-alone remote controlled systems that can automatically turn the unit on.
  10. Only for indoor use, in a dry place. Protect it from humid circumstances (e.g.: bathroom, swimming pool).
  11. It is PROHIBITED to use the unit near bathtubs, basins, showers, swimming pools or saunas!
  12. Power off the unit by unplugging it from the mains outlet before cleaning or relocating it.
  13. Hold the plug, not the power cable when you pull it out from the electric outlet.
  14. Do not place the appliance onto electric or gas cooker, onto or near other heat source.
  15. Operate only under constant supervision.
  16. Do not operate unattended in the presence of children.
  17. If any irregular operation is detected (e.g. unusual noise or burnt odor from unit), immediately switch it off and remove the power plug.
  18. Protect from dust, humidity, sunlight and direct heat radiation.
  19. Do not touch the unit or the power cable with wet hands.
  20. Make sure, that the power cable and the plug cannot get in touch water or any other liquids.
  21. Do not immerse the appliance in water!
  22. Unwind the power cable completely.
  23. The appliance may only be connected to properly grounded 220-240V ~50-60Hz electric wall outlets.
  24. Do not use extension cords or power strips to connect the unit!
  25. Power cable must not get in touch with hot surface!
  26. The appliance should be located so as to allow easy access and removal of the power plug.
  27. Lead the power cable so as to prevent it from being pulled out accidentally, and do not let it hang over the edge of a table.
  28. Heating elements / heated surfaces of the appliance are still warm for a while after the unit has been switched off.
  29. Switch off the appliance after each use, and unplug the power cable! Let the appliance cool, clean it and store it at a dry, cool place.
  30. Due to continuous improvements the design and specifications may change without any prior notice.

  33. The unit is intended for household use only. No industrial use is permitted!

Caution: Risk of electric shock! Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist. In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service facility or similarly qualified personnel.

CAUTION! HOT SURFACE!

INSTALLATION

  1. Before installation, carefully remove the packaging, and make sure not to damage the appliance or the power cable. If you find any damage, the appliance must not be operated!
  2. Clean the hot plates surface firstly with a dish-soapy, then with clean watery sponge, and finally wipe it dry. Avoid getting water inside of and on the electric components of the appliance!
  3. Stand the appliance onto a stable, horizontal surface.
  4. Keep the minimum installation distances indicated in Figure 2. Always observe the health and safety regulations valid in the country of use.
  5. Connect the appliance to a standard grounded wall outlet. The appliance now is ready for use.
  6. Before using the hot plate for the first time set the stage switch to the maximal stage 5, and wait for 10 minutes.
  7. Switch off the heater by rotating the switch to 0 position.
  8. The appliance now is ready for use.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE

  1. Clean the appliance if necessary.
  2. Switch off heating by turning the stage switch to 0 position.
  3. Let the appliance to cool down. (30 minutes)
  4. Switch off and power off the appliance by unplugging it from the mains outlet before cleaning.
  5. Avoid getting water inside of and on the electric components of the appliance!
  6. Do not immerse the appliance in liquid!
  7. Clean the hot plate’s surface first with a dish-soapy, then with clean watery sponge, and finally wipe it dry.
  8. Dust off the vents.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Malfunction Possible solution
The hot plate is not warm enough. Check the power supply.

Check the settings of the stage switch.
The hot plate is discolored.| Not a mistake, does not affect use.

DISPOSAL

Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising
