KELLER 23-Ed Series Flameproof Pressure Transmitters
Description and Application
Flameproof transmitter for the conversion of pressure into an electrical
signal, for use in hazardous environments.
The characteristics of the pressure transmitter can be taken from the
corresponding data sheet or from the agreed specifications.

Should the grounding of the transmitter not be guaranteed over the pressure connection, make sure that grounding is provided over the cable shielding.
Service
KELLER pressure transmitters are maintenance-free. The cycle for
recalibration depends on the application conditions. Recommended recalibration
cycle: 1 year.
Safety Instructions
When installing and operating the pressure transmitters, attention should be
paid to the corresponding national safety regulations and to the relative
country regulations concerning the Ex-application.
This product must be installed by authorised personnel only.
Only mount the pressure transmitters onto unpressurized systems.
On pressure ranges > 30 bar, the pressure connections could show residual
hydraulic oil.
Protect the diaphragm against damages.
Transmitters with cable output:
The cable is not longitudinally water-tight: Avoid damages of the cable-
jacket!
Protection IP50, IP65 or IP68, depending on version.
Also note the corresponding data sheet.
Special Conditions for Safe Use
The apparatus is flameproof. It can be used in potentially explosive atmosphere.
Operating ambient temperature:
- T6: -40 °C to +80 °C
- T5: -40 °C to +95 °C
- T4: -40 °C to +100 °C
