DINAN D760-0062 Turbo Inlet
Thank you for being selective enough to choose a Dinan Performance Turbo Inlet. The Dinan Engineering Team has spent many hours developing this product to assure that you will receive increased performance, durability and an aesthetic design that you as a customer will be able to enjoy for many years. Ease of installation and maintenance is important to us and has been highly considered throughout the design process. Prior to performing the installation, familiarize yourself with these instructions as it should help you with the process. If you feel that you do not have the required skills or tools, please arrange for a qualified repair facility to perform the installation. TOOLS REQUIRED
Basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and picks are required; no specialty tools are required.
INSTALLATION
STEP 1: Remove the engine cover.
STEP 2: Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
STEP 3: Loosen the hose clamp securing the filter box to the upper turbo
muffler.
STEP 4: Separate the filter box from the upper turbo muffler.
STEP 5: Pull straight up to remove the filter box from the car.
STEP 6: Cut the crimp clamp securing the upper turbo muffler to the lower
turbo muffler
STEP 7: Remove the upper turbo muffler.
STEP 8: Disconnect the PCV line and wiring harness from the lower turbo
muffler. Release the spring clip at the turbo and remove the lower turbo
muffler.
STEP 9: Transfer the spring clip and O-ring from the lower turbo muffler
to the Dinan turbo inlet. Note and maintain the factory orientation of the
O-ring; improper installation may result in significant engine damage.
STEP 10: Install the Dinan turbo inlet; ensure that the spring clip is
fully seated.
STEP 11: Reinstall the intake, referencing steps 1-8; use the included
hose clamp in place of the cut crimp clamp.
Note: The stock PCV hose connector has a small protruding tab at the end.
If you are having difficulty attaching the PCV line, this tab may be shortened
to ease reassembly. Do not modify the connector’s locking feature, and please
ensure that the PCV line is securely fastened!
