- Space heating and hot water temperature adjustment (Manual)
- Weekly space heating and hot water scheduling (Automatic)with 4 daily time bands that can be differentiated for each day of the week.
- Continuous adjustment of the boiler’s delivery temperature with room compensation (class V modulation – ErP) and the possibility of climatic influence if an external sensor is connected to the boiler (class VI adjustment – ErP)
- Reading and setting of the boiler parameters
- Anti-Legionella function scheduling
- Continuous visualisation of the current date and time
- Continuous visualisation of the room temperature
- Visualisation of the boiler’s operating information
- Recording of the boiler’s past alarms and visualisation/resetting of any current alarms

USE
Start-up
Once installation of the SIME SMART PLUS Remote Control has been completed,
proceed as follows:
- The display of the remote control unit will show the following “Main screen”.
Connecting SIME SMART PLUS to the WiFi network
(this step does not require the use of the Sime Connect app but only a
smartphone)
-
Make the electrical connections.
-
Power up the SIME SMART PLUS.
-
Choose a network name (SSID) and password of the Wi-Fi network to which the system must be connected SIME SMART PLUS.
-
Check on your smartphone that there is a Wi-Fi signal in the exact point where the SIME SMART PLUS device.
-
On the SIME SMART PLUS from the main page press the key; select “Wi-Fi” and “AP mode activation”. If the operation was carried out correctly, “AP” will appear at the top left-hand side of the display. If the operation was not completed correctly, repeat the procedure of point 5.
-
On your smartphone search for the Wi-Fi network called “SIME SMART ##” and connect to it even if the device signals that there is no access to the Internet.
-
Open a Web page from the device’s browser and enter the address 192.168.233.1 or, alternatively, scan the QR Code shown here. You will access a SIME page where you can set the credentials of the domestic Wi-Fi network to which the SIME SMART PLUS device will be connected.
Press OK to confirm the settings.
-
The connection phase may last up to 5 minutes. The icon will appear at the end if the connection was made correctly. If not, we suggest repeating the operations from point 5.
“SIME CONNECT” APP
To use the remote control functions of SIME SMART PLUS, install the “SIME
CONNECT” app on your device, which is available for Android and iOS operating
systems.
Subsequently, follow the instructions in the “SIME CONNECT” app to create a
user profile and pair the SIME SMART PLUS device installed.
Rapid setting of the room temperature
The User, through the [ and ], buttons, can directly modify the “Room set-
point” in WINTER mode from the “Main screen”.
In MANUAL mode the set value will only be valid permanently while in the AUTO
mode the set value will only be valid until the subsequent.

DHW time programme: allows for setting a weekly time schedule for
preparing the domestic hot water in the storage tank (it has no effect on
boilers with instantaneous preparation of the hot water). During the set
periods, the boiler will heat the domestic hot water in the storage tank to
the established set-point, while outside these periods the water will not be
heated and only the anti-freeze protection will be guaranteed.
In setting the DHW time programme, the user must select a day of the week and
use the following commands:
- Add: to add a new water heating period (maximum 4 daily time bands).
- Modify: to modify the set periods.
- Delete: to eliminate a period.
- Copy: to repeat the set programme in other days of the week.
Domestic hot water set-point: desired temperature for hot water to the taps and showers.

Climatic: it is possible to set the climatic curve adjustment parameters for the dynamic calculation of the system delivery temperature in relation to the room temperature and the outdoor temperature (if the external probe is connected on the boiler).
Set auto comfort: desired room temperature in AUTO mode during the
comfort periods.
Curve slope: the boiler is configured for connecting to an external air temperature sensor and can operate with a sliding temperature. The boiler’s delivery temperature varies in relation to the external temperature depending on the selected climatic curve. (refer to the “CLIMATIC CURVE SLOPE” graph).
Room influence: the boiler’s delivery temperature can also be influenced by the temperature measured in the room depending on the set weight (0% = no influence).
K Amb: the boiler’s delivery temperature can also be influenced by the temperature measured in the room depending on the slope characterising the selected room component. (refer to the “ROOM COMPENSATION SLOPE” graph).
Offset Z1: It is possible to increase or reduce the boiler’s delivery temperature by a constant value compared to the automatic adjustment with a selected climatic curve and room component.

Brightness in stand-by mode: after the set time, the display will
decrease the brightness of the selected value (setting 100 will cause the
display to switch off entirely).
Sensor calibration: the room temperature sensor can be calibrated to make
it more accurate in relation to the installation site.
Technician: access to this menu is protected by an access code and is only allowed for qualified technical personnel. Unauthorised modification of the parameters can jeopardise the boiler’s operation.
Hot water: it is possible to enable and set the ANTI-LEGIONELLA FUNCTION
which runs a disinfection cycle through a weekly thermal shock (the day and
time can be set).
Enable it ONLY if a domestic hot water storage tank is present.
