- Recommended water pressure: max. 3.5 bar. Under no circumstances may the solar shower be used with any auxiliary pumps or as part of domestic water distribution.
- Water heating causes the water to expand. Therefore, water may leak slightly from the shower head.
- The first time you use the solar shower, you may notice a slight odor of plastic and oil. This is normal. To get rid of the odor, let the water flow through the shower head for a few minutes.

- Pull the faucet handle towards you and turn it to the “hot” position. This will ensure that no air pockets remain in the hoses while they are being filled with water.
- Connect the garden hose to the hose connector (J) located at the rear part on the bottom of the solar shower. Open the water tap and let the interior of the shower filled with water. Filling of the solar shower with water can take a few minutes.
- Once the water start coming out of the shower head (D), push the faucet handle toward the showery to stop the water flowing out. The water in the solar shower will start warming up.
- Depending on the sunlight and the outdoor temperature, heating the water in the solar shower will take about two hours.
- The water temperature in the solar shower can reach up to 60 ° C in intense sunlight and high temperature.
WARNING: Be very careful not to get scalded by too hot water. There is a risk of severe scalding from hot water. Turn the handle to the “cold” position and test the water temperature on your hands, only then set the desired water temperature by turning the handle towards “hot”.
WINTERIZING
- Turn off the water tap and disconnect the garden hose.
- Pull the faucet handle towards you and turn it to the “hot” position. Allow the water to flow freely from the shower head to drain the water from the inner hoses. The water will flow for about 8 to 10 minutes. Once the water stops flowing, the inner hoses are empty. Do not close the handle or block water flow. The water would remain in the inner hoses; it could freeze and seriously damage the hoses.
- Turn the center lock counterclockwise to disconnect the top part (A) from the bottom part of the solar shower (B). Disconnect the hoses. The water can still flow out of the hoses.
- Unscrew the bottom part of the solar shower (B) and pur out the remaining water from the solar shower.
- Clean and wipe all parts of the solar shower dry. 6. Store the solar shower in a dry place in the house to prevent ice during the winter.
