alza Tools AT-20LBP20V Li-Ion Battery Pack

Product Information: Li-ion Battery Pack

The Li-ion Battery Pack is available in three variants: AT-20LBP20V, AT- 40LBP20V, and AT-60LBP20V. These batteries are designed to be used with specific manufacturer products and are only suitable for use with lithium-ion batteries. The battery pack is supplied partially charged, and to ensure full battery capacity, it should be fully charged using the charger recommended by the manufacturer before first use. It is important to follow all safety instructions provided with the battery pack to avoid electric shock, fire, and serious injury. The battery pack should be protected from rain, moisture, heat, and fire. It should also be protected from external forces that can damage the battery and cause a short circuit.

Product Usage Instructions

Before using the Li-ion Battery Pack, read the operating instructions carefully. Always remove the battery during work, transport, storage, maintenance or repair. Keep all safety warnings and instructions for future reference. To charge the battery pack, use the charger recommended by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for a certain type of battery has a risk of fire if used with other batteries. Charge the battery fully before using it for the first time. Do not throw batteries into water or a fire and do not dispose of batteries with normal household waste. Ensure proper recycling of the product at the end of its service life and all packaging materials. Keep the battery out of the reach of children. Do not open the battery pack as there is a risk of a short circuit. Protect the battery from heat, such as direct sunlight, fire, dirt, water and moisture. Never service damaged batteries; they should only be serviced by the manufacturer or an authorized service facility. Always check for small metal objects near the unused battery that could cause the contacts to jump. Do not short-circuit the battery and avoid using pointed objects, such as nails or screwdrivers, which can damage the battery and cause a short circuit. If you have any problems with the battery pack, seek professional attention immediately. It is also important to note that if the battery pack is damaged and used incorrectly, vapours may escape, which can irritate the respiratory tract. Therefore, it is recommended to protect the battery pack from external forces that can damage the battery and cause a short circuit. Do not leave the battery lying in a car, for example, in the summer as high temperatures can cause the battery to overheat and explode.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS ON THE PRODUCT PACKAGING/TYPE LABEL

Failure to follow the safety warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Keep all safety warnings and instructions for future reference.

  1. These safety instructions only apply to lithium-ion batteries. Use the battery only in the manufacturer’s products. This is the only way to protect the battery against dangerous overloading.
  2. Charge the batteries in the charger recommended by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for a certain type of battery has a risk of fire if used with other batteries.
  3. The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full battery capacity, fully charge the battery in the charger before using it for the first time.
  4. Keep all batteries out of the reach of children.
  5. Do not open a battery. There is a risk of a short circuit.
  6. Vapours may escape if the battery is damaged and used incorrectly.
  7.  The battery may start to burn or explode. Ensure a supply of fresh air and seek medical attention if you have any problems. Vapours may irritate the respiratory tract.
  8. Flammable liquid may leak from the battery if used incorrectly or the battery is damaged. Avoid contact with it. In case of accidental contact, rinse the area with water. In addition, seek medical attention if fluid gets in your eyes. Leaking battery fluid can cause skin irritation and burns.
  9. A defective battery can leak fluid, which can splash onto surrounding components. Check these components. Clean or replace if necessary.
  10. Do not short-circuit the battery. Make sure that there are no paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects near the unused battery that could cause the contacts to jump. A short circuit between the battery contacts may result in burns or fire.
  11. Pointed objects, such as nails or screwdrivers, or external forces can damage the battery. A short circuit may occur internally, and the battery may start to burn, leak smoke, explode, or overheat.
  12. Never service damaged batteries. Batteries should only be serviced by the manufacturer or an authorized service facility.
  13. Protect the battery from heat, such as direct sunlight, fire, dirt, water and moisture. There is a risk of explosion and short circuit.
  14. Use and store the battery only at ambient temperatures from −20°C to +50°C.
  15. Do not leave the battery lying in a car, for example in the summer. At temperatures <0°C, specific performance limitations may occur.
  16. Only charge the battery at an ambient temperature of 0°C to + 45°C.
