PRECAUTIONARY USE

  • When installing, do not give the transmitter too much impact.
  • Avoid using it in an environment with strong magnetic field and high current, and do not combine the connection wire with the power line.
  • During installation, the wire should not be subjected to pulling force and bending force.
  • The wiring cannot be directly connected to the power supply, and the load must be connected in series.
  • For the transmitter with indicator lights, if the power of the battery (battery) exceeds the maximum power, the LED will be damaged, its life will also be considerably reduced.
  • If the power is below the specified range, the LED dims or does not light.
  • The transmitter must not come into contact with water.
  • For use in such an environment, it can be covered with a protective cover.

INSTALLATION ON THE APPLICATION

  1. After successfully installing your AM301 central to your Daewoo Home Connect control app, you can add your garage door contact. To do this, click on Add an accessory and the General tab then “add an accessory +” from the page of your AM301 control unit.
  2. Remove the security tab from your device and separate the two parts of the contactor.
  3. The application then detects your accessory, confirm the addition.
  4. Install your contactor within your home as shown below.

  • The garage door contact should be installed in an inaccessible location.
  • The magnet (contactor 2) must be installed on the moving part and the transmitter must be installed on the fixed frame of the door.
  • The two parts of the contactor (contactor 1 + contactor 2) must be installed aligned, one in front of the other. Otherwise it will shorten the detection distance. A complete misalignment of the installation will render the device unable to detect an opening.

It is recommended to mark with a marker before drilling.
