SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Children are not allowed to use the device! Mentally, sensory and physically impaired persons may only use the device if they have previously been familiarized in detail with the functions and safety precautions by a supervisor responsible for them and understand the associated risks.

Check the voltage on the device label before use. Only connect the device to sockets that correspond to the voltage of the device.

Do not use the device with a damaged power cord. If the power cord or plug
are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service center, or a similarly qualifi ed person. -
Switch off the device after each use and disconnect the plug from the socket.

Unplug the unit from the wall outlet before cleaning and allow the unit to cool completely.

Place the unit securely in the center of the work surface.

Do not let the power cord hang over the work surface.

Do not turn the unit on when the tank is empty.

Do not place the appliance near gas stoves, electric stoves or ovens.

Be careful not to get the plug and power cord wet in case the unit leaks.

KEY FUNCTIONS
- ON/OFF switch Start or stop the unit.
Note: Never operate the appliance without water to avoid damage to the appliance.
Reset button
The boiler will auto switch off as overheat protection. Please refill water
and push the reset button (at the bottom of boiler) for re-start.
Power adjust switch
Plug on the 1500W switch, indicator light turns on, boiler keeps warm. Plug on
the 3000W switch, indicator light turns on, boiler is heating with power
3000W.
Fahrenheit and Celsius conversion method After start, press the SET button for
10 seconds, and then press [+] or [-] button to switch.
DISPLAY AND DISPLAY KEYS
- [ON/OFF]: the switch of the LCD display.
- [+/-]: use to set keep warm temperature from 60-100°C.
- [SET]: set the keep warm temperature, then press „SET“ button to confirm.
Note: The temperature is measured at the bottom of the unit.
OPERATION
How to make wort
The element cover should be put in the urn, as it prevents the „stuffs“ caking
onto element and burn out the urn. Pour water into the urn. Grind the malt,
and heat it up to 55-65 °C, keep heating it up constantly in 3 hours. String
it every 30mins. After 3 hours, get a spoon of „wort“ and use iodine to test
it every 10mins. If it not shows „light blue“, it means the starch turn into
Malt. Opposite, please keep the above instruction and do the testing again.
Please boil the „wort“ for 30 mins. And then do the sediment process. Please
re-do the filtrate step again until you get lucid liquid. Please cool it down
to 10-12 °C.
- Please use filter bucket to get rid off the residue. If the residue is too small, please use a gauze to filtrate the residue.
- The device has a ring which can be placed on the boiler, to put the filter bucket on it, so that the mash can drip off.
Pre-fermentation
Please prepare yeast, the yeast dosage is 10% of „wort“ liquid. Please prepare
250ml „wort“ and mix it with yeast in a disinfectant content and stir it. Make
sure you the
„mixture“ under 20-25℃ environment temperature to cultivate for 12-24 hours.
(the more yeast you put, the fermentation process is faster). always string
the „mixture“, when the fermentation is done, put it in a big urn and mixture
it will all „wort“ which had been prepared.
Main Fermentation
The main fermentation takes 5 to 7 days. The temperature should be kept at
8-12 °C.
- 18-24 hours later: bubbles will be on the liquid surface.
- 2nd-3rd day: there will be more bubbles
- 4th-6th day: the bubbles will start to sink
After the bubble finish sinking, please taste the fermentation juice, when you feel the taste is smooth, and with yeast taste, the (young) beer is ready!
ERROR MESSAGES
E1| Open circuit on the hot conductor| The hot conductor is damaged, has a
poor contact, has fallen off or is disconnected. Contact a specialist company
for repair.

E2| Short circuit on the hot conductor| The hot conductor is damaged or has
been short- circuited. Contact a specialist company for repair.
E3| Device runs dry| The built-in dry-running protection has reset the unit
due to excessive temperatures. Please check that,
if viscosity of liquid is too high, it must be stirred regularly especially in area of temperature sensor to avoid thermostat issues. Press on the reset pin on the bottom of the boiler. When a sound is heard, the boiler is ready for operation again
E4| Temperature at sensor too high| The temperature in the boiler rises by more than 30°C in one minute or too little water in the boiler. Please check that, if viscosity of liquid is too high, it must be stirred regularly especially in area of temperature sensor to avoid thermostat issues and more water may need to be added. Press on the
reset pin on the bottom of the boiler. When a sound is heard, the boiler is ready for operation again.
