DOSATRON MKD128R Maintenance Kit

MKD128R Instructions

Part 1 – Seal Kit

(Parts included in kit noted in blue)

1. Unscrew hose nut and remove suction hose.

2. Unscrew black stem assembly and pull down to remove.

3. Unscrew stem cap, remove and replace Bottom Seal (J003), remove pin (M005) and replace Slide Spring (M003), move piston up and down to dislodge Top Seal (J002) and replace with raised portion of seal pointing up.

4. Reattach black stem assembly and hand tighten.

5. Reattach hose assembly and tighten hose nut.
   

DO NOT FORGET TO VERIFY THAT YOUR INJECTION RATE IS SET TO THE PROPER RATIO.

Part 2 – Piston Kit

(Parts included in kit noted in blue)

1. Remove black lid.
2. Lift piston from unit.
3. Remove screw from wishbone shaped spring (at the top of the piston).
4. Remove the 4 screws from the middle of the shell. The mechanism will drop out.
5. Remove Plunger Asssembly (P009) and replace.
6. Remove the Actuator Springs (M009) and replace.
7. Replace the mechanism into the new Piston Shell (P013).
