DOSATRON HSPK25COOLKIT Quick Hook-Up Kit

1 – 3/4” Stainless Steel Support Clamp

OUTLET SIDE INLET SIDE

Before you begin, be sure to wear the proper protection, such as gloves, eye wear, and apron. Tools needed:

INLET SIDE

STEO 1

To begin, be sure to wrap all pieces with the thread seal tape, in a clockwise rotation, around the pipe threads. This will prevent the tape from coming off during assembly.

STEO 2

To assemble the inlet side, hold the flow restrictor in one hand and attach a 2” nipple to the other side.

STEO 3

Thread the 3/4” female to female elbow to the nipple and hand tighten.

STEO 4

Attach the other 2” nipple to the other side of the elbow.

STEO 5

Attach one of the unions to the nipple.

STEO 6

Attach the 3” nipple to the union.

STEO 7

Connect the other 3/4” female to female elbow to the 3” nipple.
You have completed the inlet side assembly

OUTLET SIDE

STEO 8

Hold the other union in your hand as shown and attach one of the street elbows to the union.

STEO 9

Attach the other street elbow to the end of the elbow and turn to a 90° angle, as shown.

STEO 10

Take the 3/4” hose barb and attach to the thread on the elbow.
You have completed the outlet side assembly.

INSTALL INLET AND OUTLET

STEO 11

Before installing the assemblies, thread the inlet and outlet of the Dosatron with thread seal tape.

STEO 12

Pick up your inlet assembly and attach the flow restrictor end to the inlet side of the Dosatron. Note the direction of the arrow. Hand tighten.

STEO 13

Pick up the outlet assembly and attach the union to the outlet side of the Decatron. Note the direction of the arrow. Hand tighten. You have completed installing both assemblies.

INSTALL SS BRACKET ON CART

NOTE: The SS Bracket, and associated hardware, is provided with the 25-Gallon cart (Part #: HS25) and is not part of the HSPK25COOLKIT.

STEO 14

Kit includes:

• 6 – 1/4”, 20 x 1 3/4” Hex Cap Stainless Screws
• 6 – 1/4”, 20 NE Nyl. Ins. Locknuts
• 6 – 1/4” x 5/8” OD Flat Washers
• 1 – SS Bracket for Mounting Dosatron Unit

STEO 15

Align the 6 holes on the stainless steel bracket with the predrilled holes on the cart handle. Insert the bolts provided.
NOTE: One of the holes on the bracket is larger than the other 5. Do not place the bolt in that hole yet.

STEO 16

Take the hose support clamp provided in the hook-up kit. Place the last bolt through the hole on the hose support clamp and then through the remaining hole on the bracket.
From the underside of the handle, install one washer and locking nut onto each bolt. Be sure not to overtighten!

INSTALL HOOK-UP KIT TO CART

STEO 17

Attach the Dosatron bracket to the cart using the screws included on the cart.
Using a Phillips head screw driver and a box or crescent wrench, tighten the screws.

STEO 18

Thread the strap through the slits in the bracket.

STEO 19

Install the unit and assemblies onto the cart, with the inlet side on the right side of the cart. The Dosatron arrow will be pointing left.
NOTE: You may need to slightly adjust the inlet and outlet assemblies to line up with the brackets included on the cart.

STEO 20

Wrap thread seal tape around the threads of the stainless steel hose adapter supplied with the cart

STEO 21

Install the stainless steel adapter parts by placing one washer on the inside of the  cart bracket and one on the outside. Thread the stainless steel hose adapter onto the elbow and tighten with a box crescent wrench for a snug fit.

STEO 22

Install the stainless steel adapter parts by placing one washer on the inside of the cart bracket and one on the outside. Thread the stainless steel hose adapter onto the elbow and tighten with a box crescent wrench for a snug fit.

STEO 23

Place the hose clamp over the other end of the hose and attach to the gas style nozzle. Tighten the hose clamp with flat head screwdriver.

STEO 24

To attach the injection pickup hose to the Dosatron, place the strainer onto the hose and drop into the top of the cart tank. Thread the hose up through the hole on the top and attach a clamp to the hose. Thread the hose and clamp onto the Dosatron barb. Tighten clamp with a flat head screwdriver.
