SAFETY NOTICE:
Read this instruction manual carefully before using the lamp! Observe the
safety instructions when operating the lamp. Retain this instruction manual
for future reference. If the lamp is transferred to third parties, these
operating instructions must also be passed on.
• Stop using the lamp if it is damaged.
• Contains small parts – do not swallow. Keep small parts out of the reach of
children. This product is not suitable for children.
• This product is not a toy! Keep the device away from children.
• Do not use the lamp in or near flammable or inflammable places or materials.
• Never attempt to replace the LED. The LED cannot be replaced. If damaged,
dispose of the lamp correctly.
• The product is not suitable for household room lighting.
• Only suitable for use indoors and in protected, covered outdoor areas.
Before first use

Open the battery compartment on the rear of the lamp by turning it anti-clockwise.

Insert 3 x AAA batteries 11.5 V (not included) with the correct polarity (4-, -) as indicated on the battery holder.
Remove the batteries from the product if it will not be used for an extended period of time. -
Turn the battery compartment clockwise again. Make sure that the battery compartment is tightly closed.
SWITCHING ON / MOTION SENSOR
Switch on continuously:
To switch the lamp on permanently, slide the slider to the ON position.
Switch off: To switch the lamp off, slide the slider to the OFF position.
Activate the motion sensor:
To activate the motion sensor, move the slider to the AUTO position. The lamp
lights up for a few seconds.
Note: The motion detector switches the lamp on automatically as soon as
motion is detected. The lamp lights up for at least 30 seconds, and switches
off automatically as soon as no movement is registered.
NOTE: the motion sensor is only activated in darkness.
INSTALLING THE WALL BRACKET (# 2)
The Handy LUX Light Ball is only suitable for use indoors and in protected,
covered outdoor areas.
Installing the holder with double-sided adhesive tape/included adhesive
pad:
- Once you have decided on the desired location, place a piece of double-sided adhesive tape or one of the included adhesive pads on the back of the bracket.
- Make sure that both the wall and bracket are clean, dry, and free of grease and dirt, and place the bracket on the surface, applying pressure evenly.
- Now insert the Handy LUX Light Ball into the holder.
Installing on magnetic surfaces:
The wall bracket has an integrated magnet, which allows you to easily place
the bracket on metallic surfaces.
Screwing the bracket into place
You can also screw the bracket on to walls, wood, etc. Please consult a
specialist to determine which materials are suitable for affixing.
- Fasten a screw (if necessary with a dowel) in place at the desired location. Leave the screw protruding approx. 1 cm from the wall.
- Place the keyhole opening of the holder on the screw, and put the Handy LUX Light Ball in the holder.
