USE

Before first use

  1. Remove the cooktop from its packaging. Before disposing of the packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check that the cooktop is not damaged.
  2. Wash the outer surface of the cooktop with a soft sponge, slightly dampened in warm water. Wipe dry.

Use

  1. Place the cooktop on a dry, clean, solid and heat-resistant surface at a sufficient distance from the mains socket. Make sure that the cooktop is placed far enough away from heatsensitive and flammable materials and that the safety instructions are observed.

  2. Make sure the temperature controller is set to OFF.

  3. Fully unroll the power cable. Make sure that the power cable is located so that it does not touch the cooktop, which heats up during use, or other heat sources, such as electric or gas stoves.

  4. Insert the mains plug into the mains socket.

  5. Place the pot or pan on the hob. We recommend using dishes with a flat bottom with a diameter that matches the size of the hob. This will ensure optimal energy consumption and cooking time.

  6. Turn the temperature controller to set the desired temperature level.
The operation LED of the relevant hob lights up. This signals that the thermostat of the selected hob is switched on and heats the hob to the set temperature level. Once it goes out, the temperature has reached the set level. During operation, the thermostat that maintains the set temperature level will turn on and off. As the thermostat turns on and off, the LED turns on and off.

  7. Check the condition of the food regularly and you can change the set temperature level as needed.

  8. Once the cooking is completed, turn the temperature control of the hob to the OFF position.

  9. If you are not going to use the cooktop, make sure that the temperature controller is in the OFF position and unplug it. Allow the cooktop to cool completely and then clean it according to the instructions in the “Cleaning and maintenance” section.

Warning: Do not handle the cooktop when it is switched on, when it is hot, when dishes are placed on the hob or the plug is plugged in.

Note: The first time you turn it on, you may notice a faint smoke and a faint odour. This is normal. Smoke and odour disappear with use.

Warning: The cooktop heats up during use and stays hot also after use. Do not touch the hot surface. There is a risk of severe burns.
