FAQ’s

When will the battery in the rapid charger be fully charged?

A typical charge with the kit’s supplies takes two hours. Quick chargers are unknown to me unless they are accessories.

When it’s in the wall-mounted holder, does it charge?

Yes, but only if you charge the hoover with the battery connected. A battery cannot be charged on its own. Although the hoover is serviceable, the small attachments could be better.

Is a power brush head included as standard equipment with the Bosch Series 6 BCS612GB model?

Yes, you receive every item pictured, including the power brush head that is pictured linked to the cleaner.

Can I also use a fast charger for the Series 8? a quicker charging ( fast charger should reduce charging time to 1h instead of 4h)

You can use it, but the battery life may be impacted.

Can this vacuum be charged using a standard electrical outlet? Is using the docking station required?

The battery must be taken out of the device and inserted into a unique charging station, which is then connected to the standard 13 amp mains outlet. The charging station was included in the pack that I bought, however, I still suggest that you double-check this.

Does the warranty include this price? In such a case, how long?

Yes, this item has a two-year warranty, which you can extend individually if necessary.

The item has arrived, but there is just one battery and no charger. Are those not there?

Two batteries ought to have been given to you. There is no separate charger; the battery can only be recharged using the wall-mounted bracket that holds the vacuum cleaner.

Are Fittings for the docking station provided?

Yes, it did come with three (I believe) little plugs and screws, but if it’s going on the plasterboard, I’d advise obtaining additional fasteners.

Can anyone confirm that the Bosch Series 6 Bcs612dust GB’s container capacity ranges from 0.3 to 0.9 l depending on the location?

According to the Bosch-Home Co. UK website, the useful volume is 0.9 liters.

When in use, how loud is this vacuum?

It is silent, especially when the volume is low (you can have a normal conversation while using it)

Any suggestions on how to replace or where to find a clean paper filter?

The Bosch Home website sells extra filters. If I recall properly, they were reasonably priced.

Where should I hang it from? Additionally, mounting equipment is not included. Do you know where I can buy them and what sizes I need?

I don’t have room for the wall mounting equipment that came with my Bosch. Instead, I keep the “stick,” which is lying lengthwise under the stairs, switched on, and the motor head on the top of my kitchen cabinets.

Is it simple to empty the trash?

It’s not hard to empty, detach the tube (or accessory), detach the filter from the handle, break the seal on the lid, and remove it. To get rid of any fluff, debris, etc., empty the bowl into the trash can and tap or brush the filter. Filter maintenance is fairly simple.

Where can I get filters that work with this machine? Is there a connection?

You simply employ the given filter.

How do I order a new filter, please?

Online through Bosch or a regional distributor.

Can you still use the 18v, 1.5 ah Bosch battery with the vacuum? It’s a little bit heavier than the one in the advertisement’s photo.

If your battery is marked “Power for All,” it will fit. The 18-volt power for all batteries fits all gadgets, and those batteries are all the same size in terms of physical dimensions.
