CAUTION
Read this manual carefully before using the appliance and save it for future reference.
- Before the first use, check the device specifications and the power supply in your network.
- It is not intended for industrial use.
- For indoor use only. Use only for domestic purposes according to the instruction manual.
- Do not use with damaged cord, plug or other injuries.
- Keep the power cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.
- Do not pull the cord. Always take the plug. Do not reel the cord around the device housing.
- Never attempt to frame and repair the appliance by yourself. If you meet problems, please contact customer service center.
- Using accessories or replacement parts which are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause damage to the appliance.
- Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning and removing parts. Keep unplugged when not in use.
- To avoid electric shock and fire, do not immerse in water or other liquids. If this occurs, immediately unplug it and contact service center for inspection.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and level surface. Position it far from flammable materials including curtains, walls, and fabric upholstered furniture.
- Do not place the appliance near heat-emitting devices such as heaters, cooktops or electric burners.
- Don’t use the appliance near explosive objects.
- Never cover the appliance.
- Operating appliance always needs supervision. Bread inside could inflame!
- Don’t touch appliance heating element. You could get burnt!
- Don’t place into the toaster slots spread with butter or jam bread.
- Don’t insert bread that is too large for the toaster.
- If bread stuck in the toaster, unplug the appliance. When the toaster cool down, take the bread out.
- Never take bread out with sharp utensils. They could damage heating element.
- Don’t extract bread while the toaster is in use.
- Operating lever should be in top position when you unplug the appliance.
- Use toaster only with crumb tray. Clean crumb tray regularly.
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Please unpack your appliance. Remove all packing materials. Remove all stickers.
- Heat the toaster at maximum setting two times without bread in order to eliminate residual odour. As all new electric heating elements, a toaster creates a new smell when it is first time switched on. This is quite normal and not a cause for concern.
- The appliance is ready for use
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Let the appliance cool down completely.
- Pull the crumb tray out, empty it and place back.
- Clean the appliance housing if required, using soft material. Do not use chemical and abrasive cleaners.
- Keep the appliance in a dry cool place.
