WARNINGS

This device is designed for home, personal and dry use only.
Before use, place the product on hard, flat, stable and dry surface.
Keep the device out of reach of children less than 8 years old due to small parts and choking hazard.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
The appliance is only to be used with battery types that are marked on the appliance.
Never leave weak or empty batteries in the device – especially if you suspect it will not be used for several months. Use the correct size and type of battery specified by the manufacturer and installed in accordance with polarity (+ and – terminals) marked on the device. Do not mix old and new batteries, batteries of different brands, or batteries of different types (alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium)) in the same device as this may cause the batteries to leak. Rechargeable batteries must be removed before being recharged. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Battery replacement and/or recharging should be done only by adults. Always keep all batteries in a safe place away from children and pets. Store new batteries, in their original packaging, in a dry place and at normal room temperature until ready to use and dispose of used batteries in accordance with your local law. Do not store device with batteries in very warm places as this could result in reduced battery performance and/or battery leakage. Battery acid and leakage can cause personal
injury and/or damage to the product and/or surrounding property. If battery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash
any affected skin, making sure to keep battery acid away from eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Immediately wash
any clothing or other surface that came into contact with leaked battery acid.
Do not clean with solvents or abrasives.
Do not place close to excessive heat.
Minimum load is 2,5 kg, maximum load is 180 kg.
If the device is not working as it should, has received a sharp blow, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water, do not use it.
In case of malfunction and/or damage do not attempt any repair by yourself and ensure that the product is properly disposed in accordance with local laws.
Do not attempt any modification or repair by yourself and ensure that any repair is conducted only by appropriately qualified technician.

BEFORE USE

Pull out the protective film from the battery compartment.
Set the desired measurement unit (kg, lb, st) by pressing the unit switch located on the back side of the device.
Turn the device around and put it on a flat, stable, dry surface.

USAGE

Gently step on the main unit to activate it.
When standing on the scale make sure your feet are placed evenly on it and make sure to stand perfectly still.
After the device is activated the display will first show zero numbers and once it is stabilized it will show actual weight by blinking number.
The device will automatically turn off after approximately 10 seconds of non-use.

NOTE:
Displayed weight might deviate from the actual weight for +/- 100 g.
It is important to always weigh yourself at the same time of day. The best frequency is once per week.
Minimum load is 2,5 kg, maximum load is 180 kg. If the device is overloaded error sign “EEE” will be displayed. Remove the weight immediately to avoid any damage.

CHANGING THE BATTERY

When the battery will need replacing sign “LO” will be displayed.
Before changing or inserting the batteries make sure the device is turned off.
Locate the battery compartment on back of the device and remove the battery compartment cover.
Remove battery and insert new one, make sure that the (+) and (-) polarities match the diagram indicated inside the battery compartment.
Reposition the battery compartment cover back.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Wipe down the surface of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth and dry it out carefully.
When cleaning the device do not use any chemicals, alkalis, abrasives or other strong cleaning agents and disinfectants.
Dry the device thoroughly after cleaning before further use or storage.
