IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
READ AND FOLLOW ALL WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT. INJURY CAN RESULT FROM IMPROPER USE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
WARNING:

  • This device may only be used by children from 8 years of age, or by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the device and have understood the hazards arising therefrom. Children are not to play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised. Children younger than 8 years are to be kept away from the machine and the connecting cable
  • THIS PRODUCT IS NOT WATERPROOF AND SHOULD NOT BE USED IN THE SHOWER OR ANY SITUATION THAT INVOLVES WATER. IF WATER GETS INTO THE UNIT, SWITCH OFF IMMEDIATELY AND CEASE USE.
  • Intended for use on calloused feet only. Do not use on uncalloused, smooth skin, as this could lead to injury.
  • Avoid use on irritated, inflamed or infected skin, or on open wounds. Irritation or lacerations may result.
  • Avoid use if you are diabetic or have poor blood circulation. Consult a physician before use. Do not use following surgery or apply to scars.
  • If you experience pain while using this product, discontinue use immediately.
  • To avoid damage, do not insert any foreign objects into the unit.

CHARGING

  1. Turn on the PediVac™ by holding down the On/ Off switch for 2 seconds. The battery indicator light is solid green when the battery is fully charged. When indicator light flashes yellow, the battery is low.
  2. To charge, plug the micro-USB connector end of the supplied USB cable into the charging port (Figure A). Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB wall adapter (not included in delivery contents), then plug the adapter into the wall outlet.
  3. Disconnect the PediVac™ from the power source once it is fully charged. Over-charging the battery can reduce the battery life.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

  1. Start by removing the cover by lifting it on one side (Figure E).

  2. Turn on the PediVac™ by holding down the On/ Off switch for 2 seconds (Figure F).

  3. When the unit is in the ON position, the speed is low. To change to the higher speed, click the On/Off switch once.
    NOTE: The LED indicator glows green when the unit is operating at low speed. At high speed, the LED indicator lights up red.

  4. Hold the PediVac™ firmly in your hand and lightly press the device on the area of skin to be removed. Move the PediVac™ outward in the direction of the healthy skin (Figure G).

CHANGING THE FILING ATTACHMENTS

  1. Place one hand on the device and hold the filing attachment remover with the other (Figure C).
  2. Place both ends of the filing attachment remover under the edges of the filing attachment and gently lift it upwards (Figure D). When it is removed, you will hear a slight click.
  3. You can use the fine filing attachment to finish the procedure on your feet.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Start by removing the filing attachment. Follow the instructions above. Filing attachments can be cleaned under warm water (Figure H). Allow to air dry. Do not clean the main unit under running water. Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth.
  2. Turn the PediVac™ cover anti-clockwise to open the detritus chamber (Figure I).
  3. Remove the filter from the chamber, rinse it with warm water, and allow to air dry.
  4. Empty the chamber.
  5. Clean off any residue with the supplied brush (Figure J).
  6. Once the chamber is completely clean, replace the filter, the collection container cover, and the filing attachment.
    NOTE: For best performance, clean the PediVac™ after each use.

Do not dispose this product at the end of its service life through normal domestic waste. It has to be disposed through a collection agency that recycles electric and electronic devices. Batteries do not belong in household waste. You are legally obliged to return batteries and rechargeable batteries to the retail outlet after use so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner, and so that the raw materials they contain can be recycled. The return of batteries and rechargeable batteries is free of charge. The reuse and recycling of used batteries makes an important contribution to the protection of our environment, as some ingredients are toxic and harmful to the environment. These substances can enter the human body via the food chain. Used batteries which contain lithium pose a fire risk due to internal and external short circuits. Please tape up the terminals before disposal to avoid an external short circuit. Batteries and rechargeable batteries that are not permanently installed must be removed and disposed of separately. Batteries and rechargeable batteries should only be returned after they have been discharged.
