VORMOR T8 Voice Translator

Brief description

This voice translator is an artificial intelligence hardware product that integrates various technologies such as voice recognition, OCR (character recognition), text translation, voice synthesis. In the network-connected (or hotspot) state, as long as you speak the voice, it can instantly translate the voice into the language you want and broadcast it, and it can also translate the photo text into foreign language. In the scenarios of traveling abroad, foreign language learning, business communication, etc., it effectively solves the communication problems between different languages.

Power button

  1. On/off: Press and hold the power button for more than 3 seconds, the power on/off interface will appear, and you can choose to turn on/off or restart.
  2. Standby: Press the power button to wake up or standby. Red/blue translation button: Voice input button: corresponds to the red/blue language of the screen display interface. Press and hold this button to enter the corresponding voice, and then release it to announce the translation result.

Preparation before use

  1. Device charging: Before using the device, please check if the device is fully charged.
    If the device cannot be turned on or out of power, please charge the device with the special power line equipped in the packaging box. It is best to tum on the device after charging for I hour or when the battery is fully charged. When the device is charged in the JX1wer-0ff state, the screen will display a large charge icon and a percentage of the power for about 8-10 seconds.
    When the device is charged in the power-On state, there will be a “lightning” icon next to the battery icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

  2. Network connection: After turn on the device, enter the WIFI setting interface, please check whether the network is successfully connected.
    The AI voice translator needs to be connected to the Internet for normal use. It can be connected to WIFI or mobile phone hotspots.
    Enter the “WIFI Setting” interface or through the “Setting” option in the menu, then click “WlAN” to enter the WIFI signa source selection interface, click ON/OFF button to open WIFI connection and search nearby network (if you do not see the network to be connected, you can try ON/OFF and open it again), click the WIFI you want to connect to, enter the password and click “√’.

    Note: At present, this device only applies to WIFI in the form of a direct input password. It does not support WI”FI in some hotels and airports which need to open the second level of web

  3. System language setting Click , “Setting” on the home screen to enter the “Setting” interface, click “system language” to enter the system language selection, and slide up and down to select the operating system language you need.

  4. Home screen
    The home screen of the device is the main function entry of the device with four operation options: Speech translation, photo translation, Internet connection, setting.
    Click on the screen to enter the corresponding function options.

  5. Status bar
    The top of the device screen displays some status information about the device, such as WIFI connection status, power, charging status, etc.

Introduction to main functions

Voice translation Touch the “Speech Translation” option on the home screen to enter the Speech translation interface. First, confirm whether your device has successfully connected to the network (if “start talking” appears after long pressing the red/blue button, then the network has been successfully connected, otherwise the network has not been successfully connected, please return to reconnect the network).

  1. Language selection: Click the Language button at the top or bottom of the Speech Translation interface to enter the language selection list, and click the desired original language and target language respectively.
  2. Voice input: Press and hold the red/blue translation button (voice input button) on the device until “start talking” appears on the screen and start talking to the microphone to enter the voice recognition state. (Note: the red button corres JX) nds to the red language on the left side of the screen, and the blue button corres JX) nds to the blue language on the right side of the screen. Be sure to say the corresponding language selected, otherwise it will not be recognized.)
  3. After the release of the hand, the voice will be automatically recognized and parsed, and translated into the set target language and broadcasted by voice. Touch the speaker icon on the screen to rebroadcast the text record.
  4. When there are too many text records displayed in the screen list, you can slide up and down to view the text records; you can also delete the text record by long pressing a text record.

Photo translation

Touch the Photo Translation option on the home screen to enter the photo translation interface.

  1. Language selection: Click the Language button at the top of the Photo Translation interface to enter the language selection list, and click the desired original language and target language respectively. (currently available photo translation includes Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Thai, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, which will change with the version updating)
  2. Point the camera at the image-text that needs to be translated, touch the screen to focus, and click the “take a picture” button. After taking a clear picture, the device will automatically identify and parse the image-text, and translate it into the target language.

Setting

  1. Brightness adjustment: The brightness of the screen can be adjusted after entering.
  2. Volume adjustment: The volume can be adjusted after entering.
  3. WAN: Configure the WIFI network of the device, which can only be used in the case of networking.
  4. System language: supports more than IO countries, such as Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, German, French, Japanese, Thai, Korean, etc.,
  5. System Upgrade: Check for the latest updated software version and update.
  6. About this device: check the model of the device, SN number, system version, etc.

Matters needing attention

  1. Do not perform any operations during device upgrade, program download, and program automatic installation and restart.

  2. The artificial intelligence translator needs network support, so please ensure that the device is connected to the network through WiFi or hotspot with network speed above 400KB/S (equivalent to JG network), otherwise it will affect the translation response time and even lead to translation failure.

  3. When using, please press and hold the translation button until you see the microphone icon and then speak. After you finish speaking, release the button to ensure that the complete voice is collected.

  4. When speaking, be sure to keep your mouth straight to the MIC of the device, and keep the distance within 30CM for the best effect.

  5. Please speak coherently at a normal speed. Do not pause many times in the course of speaking, or combine two sentences into one sentence. The above situations may lead to inaccurate translation.

  6. Please try to pronounce as standard as JX) Sible. Don’t use pet phrases or slangs.

  7. When you speak, you can verify what you are saying by the text displayed on the screen.

  8. If the words you said are correctly identified, but the translation is not accurate, please change the way of expression.

Warning

  1.  Do not use this device in places where electronic devices are prohibited, such as gas stations, fuel depots and chemical plants, or it may cause explosion or fire.
  2. Please do not use any unauthorized or incompatible power supply or charger, which may cause fire, explosion or other dangers.
  3. When charging is completed or it is not charging, disconnect the charger from the device and unplug the charger from the power outlet.
  4. It is strictly forbidden to place the device in an environment where the temperature is too high or too low to avoid fire, explosion or product failure; do not put the device close to heat sources such as oven and electric heater, and do not put it into the fire; lithium batteries shall not be exposed to sunlight, fire or similar overheating.
  5. It is strictly prohibited for children or pets to swallow or bite this device or its accessories to prevent injury.

Exception clause

  1. Please read the product instructions carefully before use and operate in strict accordance with its contents.
  2. No liability shall be assumed for the translation of this product.
  3. This product is not waterproof, and the damage caused by water intake should be borne by the user.
  4. Do not place the product in high temperature, high humidity or any other environment that will damage the product.

Warranty regulations

  1. The free warranty period for this product is I year.
  2. During the warranty period, the faults caused by the normal use according to the instructions (determined by the company’s after-sales personnel or authorized service personnel of our company) shall be repaired free of charge.
  3. During the warranty period, the following conditions are not covered by the free warranty:
  4. Failure to provide warranty certificate and valid purchase certificate.
  5. Unauthorized maintenance, misuse, collision, negligence, abuse, accident, incorrect use of this product, etc.
  6. Due to prolonged exposure to strong light, fire, or similar overheating environment.
  7. Machine damage or performance failure caused by human factors such as water intake.
  8. Losses caused by the use of unqualified power supply and adapter exceeding SY /2A.
  9. The Company shall not be liable for any special, accidental or indirect loss or damage, whether in the contract, negligence in civil disputes or otherwise.
