Miele ProCare Dent 11 A Powder Cleaning Detergent Instructions

Introduction

Use:
Powder, alkaline. For the automated reprocessing of dental instruments in Miele Professional washer disinfectors.

Pro Care Dent 11 A supports the removal of organic soiling such as blood and saliva and prevents redeposit ion.
Coarse residues from composites, dental cement and dental impression compound should be removed before they have had time to set.
Pro Care Dent 11 A is not suitable for cleaning hand pieces. The use of the Pro Care Dent 10 MA liquid detergent is recommended for this purpose.

Use and dispensing:
Miele Pro Care Dent 11 A is formulated for use in processes in Miele Professional washer disinfectors.

Application concentration: 3 g/l (0.3 %) via door dispenser for powder detergents
Program selection: Vario TD

An identical quantity of detergent should be used each time, preferably by using the enclosed dispensing spoon.

Program sequence:

Vario TD process:

Pre-wash with cold water to remove coarse soiling (e. g. blood).
Main wash with Pro Care Dent 11 A at 55 °C (dispensing temperature 40 °C)
Neutralization with Pro Care Dent 30 P
Intermediate rinse with cold water
Thermal disinfection at 93 °C with 5-minute holding time in the final rinse
Drying

The suds should be completely rinsed off using water.
No visible detergent residue should be present at the end of the process.
In Miele Professional washer disinfectors, this is guaranteed by the Vario TD program when properly used (e.g. correct loading).
Verification is provided by measuring the increase of the conductivity in the final rinse during commissioning and routine maintenance.
Miele recommends the use of fully demineralized water in the final rinse in order to protect the load and the washer-disinfector against stains and deposits.

Do not mix with other products.
Reprocessing should comply with all ordinances pursuant to medical device regulations and should be performed with appropriate validated processes.
Observe recommendations on reprocessing issued by medical device manufacturers with respect to the provisions of CAN/CSA-Z17664 (ISO 17664).
Operating instructions on Miele Professional washer disinfectors must be observed.

pH-value (determined using fully demineralized water approx. 20 °C) 3 g/l: approx. 11.5

Ingredients according to Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on detergents:

< 5 % non-ionic ten sides
30 % phosphates

Storage information:

Storage temperature: 0 °C to 30 °C
Refit lid firmly after use. The product tends to get lumpy when exposed to dampness which can cause a loss of effectiveness.
Can be used for 2 years under proper storage conditions
