If you have a Hue bridge

  1. Power your Hue white and turn on your wall light switch
  2. Start the Hue app and follow the instructions

If you have a Hue wireless dimming kit

  1. Power your Hue white and turn on your wall light switch

  • Before replacing, turn off the power and let the bulb cool to avoid electrical shock or burn.
  • Device 1s is for Indoor use only.
  • Do not use the device in wet locations, e.g. bathrooms or outdoors.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  • This device is not a toy designed to be played with by children.
  • Do not place the device on hot surfaces.
  • For safety reasons, do not an open device, which will also void the warranty.
  • Use the bulb only in a socket rated for this bulb.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Philips warrants that this device will be free from defects in material and workmanship and will operate for 2 years based on up to 3 hours average usage per day/7 days per week when used as directed. If this device does not conform to the warranty, Philips will send you, at its election, a replacement device or refund your original purchase price upon receipt of the returned device, register receipt, and proof of purchase. Can I use “Z wave” technology with this?****

It’s partially accurate. As long as you import the colors app to control it, it is compatible with Wave hubs. Mine has a Vera (Micas Verde) hub, which I utilize.

Can I use these bulbs to create a pink-and-white color?****

A dazzling chilly white contrasts with a vivid yellow-orange warm tone.

Can I put something in a portal amp that supplies 220 w?****

Just for 120 volts

Is the hue dimmer compatible with this bulb? My package includes a dimmer. I want to replace the warm, standard bulb with a cooler, daylight white.****

Yes. But you should first configure it on the app.

Can these lights be adjusted to emit less blue light to aid with sleep?****

It’s not exactly blue light, but you can adjust the color warmth because they have a range of light from cool to warm. If you wish to lean more toward red light, a Color Ambiance bulb would be a better option.

Does it function with the Harmony Hub or do I also need the Phillips Hub?****

The Hue Hub is necessary.

Does the Echo Plus hub work?****

In a rudimentary sense (on/off/dim, temperature/color), it does operate with Echo Plus. The Hue hub is required if you want intelligent interaction (sync with sunset, IFTTT, etc.).

Can I place this bulb in a closed space without it heating up?****

Yes

Can I use the Hue app to control my lights if I don’t have a Hue bridge?

Yes, you can use the Hue app to control your lights without a Hue bridge. The app will control your lights as long as they are connected to the same wireless network as your phone or tablet.
