The Toshiba TY-CWU510 has many positive attributes. It has a nice handle, a solid feel, a cool remote control, is rechargeable, and has powerful sound output. Not revolutionary, but decent for its size. Since there is no manual tone/EQ control, the EQ selections have a significant impact on tone. from a smartphone, tablet, or another compatible device, stream wirelessly. you can connect the speakers in different ways, they can be connected by Bluetooth, USB and you can play FM radio on them.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY
With the Toshiba TY-CWU510 speaker, an updated version of the classic boombox, you can wirelessly stream music and audio from Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. The black boombox also has a headphone jack, a strong top strap for transporting, and an easy-to-read digital display.

There are several alternatives for playback available to you, so the music never has to stop. The boombox features USB and SD card interfaces in addition to a top-loading CD player. It runs on batteries and a power cord. It does not have a way to plug it into a cigarette lighter.
Does it have a radio?
I looked at ours and it only has FM radio.
can I see where on the cd I am like a counter?
It tells you the tracking number but doesn’t have a countdown of minutes.
Does the remote have shuffle and repeat?
No, it doesn’t.
How do I simply play a CD?
Open the lid Place the cd in and press FUNCTION on the player or press FUNCTION on the remote and continue to press Function until you see the CD on screen. Press Play on the player or use the remote to press play.
I have split tracks, the voice on one speaker and music only on the other when you change the balance. Can you do that with this device?
If you have split tracks that we’re recorded to one side of the speakers then when you change the balance. That one speaker will play and not the other. So if your music is on the right that’s what you will hear. The left speaker will only play the voice. Not sure if that will work while Bluetooth or using the mp player. But your disc should work in this fashion
Is it loud with decent bass? I just want it to listen to my music using Bluetooth inside my room
It sounds great with my system using Bluetooth.
When tuning the radio, does the station appear on a digital display… So you’re not tuning from a dial?
Yes. This is a great sounding piece of equipment, I listen to all types of music all the time so I consider myself above the average about hearing good- sounding equipment. I posted the part number for plastic grills to protect the skin of the speakers, I don’t know why these manufacturers leave them unprotected
Can you use wireless headphones with this?
No…The unit is a Bluetooth receiver. Not a transmitter.
Is this unit 110v, 220v or dual or auto volt?
It’s 100-240v or 4 size D batteries. Overall, it’s a great value!
