About this Owner’s Manual

Laurel Mountain hasgalned popularity by the variety of bathtubs available and the extensive list of optionsfor each type of tub. This manual covers the installation, operation, and maintenance needs for whirlpools air baths, combo baths, and soaker tubs. INSTALLATION WARNING

Your Laurel Mountain bathtub has been water tested prior to shipment. However, due to transportation and potential on-the-job conditions, you should NOT install this tub until performing a water test. A second water test should also be performed once the tub is in its final location prior to completing the install. The water test should include operation of any and all systems, jets, controls, etc.
Bullding material & wiring should be routed away from the pump or other heat producing parts of this tub.

  • Please follow these instructions to ensure an easy and safe installation process. Unless written approval is obtained from Laurel Mountain, any deviations, additions, or deletions to your tub or its hardware will yold the warranty.

Specifications

Your Laurel Mountain tub was created to your order specifications. Thetub was constructed from a cast acrylic shell. It wasthen reinforced with a mixture of chopped fiberglass in a polyester resin applied to the backdde of the shell. The base of your unit was designed to give uniform support to thetub floor and has been pre-leveled. It meets or exceeds load-bearing and impact resistance requirements of the listed standard without evidence of crazing or cracking and with minimal deflection when installed in accordance to Laurel Mountain printed instructions.

PRIOR TO INSTALLATION

Immediately inspect your tub for any cosmetic defects or damage. If any problems or concerns are discovered, contact Laurel Mountain on how to proceed. DO NOT remove the bath from its shipping container until you are ready to water-test and install. When you are prepared to remove the tub from its carton DO NOT LIFT the
tub out by its plumbing. We also recommend cutting cardboard from the shipping container to place inside the tub to protect its floor. Even though your tub has been Inspected and water tested prior to shipment, it isvery important that you perform a water test of your own to enwre all of the SB1.20
