Insert the butane cartridge refill nozzle into the refilling valve and push down. Stop refilling when the gas starts to overflow. Do not overfill. The soldering Iron/blow torch should never be completely filled, overfilling could cause the flame to spit.
TO IGNITE
Move the gas/flame adjustment slide to the mid position between numbers 2 and 3. Holding the soldering Iron In your hand, use your thumb to press down on the ignition lock switch and at the same time push the piezo ignition button in a downwards direction For a constant flame, before releasing the piezo ignition button, use your Index finger to slide the continuous flame switch to the left. Adjust flame level with the gas/flame adjustment slide.
- Move towards position “4” to increase
- Move towards position “1” to decrease
TO EXTINGUISH
The soldering Iron/blow torch Is fitted with a flame off button, pressing this will temporarily stop the gas flow, but remember the soldering assembly will still be extremely hot. To turn the soldering Iron off, move the continuous flame switch to the right and then move the gas/flame adjustment slide to the “1” position. This will cut off the gas supply and extinguish the soldering iron.
HOT AIR
