FUNCTIONS

Power ON / OFF:
Press and hold the “O” button for 2s. If not connected to a BT device or connected but idle (not playing audio) speaker will turn OFF automatically after 15 min.

Play / Pause:
Press the “ ” button once to play or pause audio.

Volume up:
Press “+” button to increase the volume.

Volume Down:
Press “-” button to decrease the volume.

Next Track:
Press and hold “+” button for 2s to skip track.

Previous Track:
Press and hold “-” button for 2s to go to last track.

TWS Pairing:
Press “O” button 3 times to pair any two SKDY Terrain speakers to play audio in stereo. Status LED will be ON cyan to indicate Right channel and ON yellow to indicate Left channel.

Exit TWS Mode:
Press “O” button 3 times to exit TWS pairing
Status LED will be White.

Party Mode Transmitting:
Press and hold the ” ” and “+” button together for 1s to set speaker as transmitting.
Status LED will be ON purple.

Party Mode Receiving:
First disconnect speaker from any BT device by single pressing the BT button. Then press and hold the ” ” and “+” button together for 1s to set speaker as receiving.
Status LED will be ON green.

BT Pairing:
Press and hold BT Button for 3s to enter BT pairing mode. Speaker will disconnect from any paired BT device and be available to pair to new devices. Speaker will stay in pairing mode for 60 sec, or until connected. Status LED will blink blue while in BT pairing mode.

Check Battery Status:
The 4 LED indicators show the battery level. Press and hold “+” and “-“ buttons together for 1sec, for a more accurate battery level indication. A voice prompt will say the battery level.

CHARGING

Use the USB-C cable included to connect the speaker to an appropriate power source to begin charging. The LED indicators will show battery is charging. When all 4 LEDs are ON the battery is fully charged.

Warning

  1. To avoid damage to the speaker and battery, it is important to only use a power source that matches the power requirements listed on the speaker’s rating label.
  2. To avoid overheating, it’s recommended not to place the speaker in direct sunlight, especially while charging and playing music.

Battery status indication (not charging)

  • 0-5% – speaker is OFF all 4 LEDs are OFF
  • 5-10% – 1st LED blinks red, other LEDs are OFF
  • 10-25% – 1st LED is ON white, other LEDs are OFF
  • 25-50% – 1st + 2nd LEDs are ON white, other LEDs are OFF
  • 50-75% – 1st + 2nd + 3rd LEDs are ON white, other LEDs are OFF
  • 75-100% – All LEDs are ON white

Battery status indication (while charging)

  • 0-25% – 1st LED blinks white, other LEDs are OFF
  • 25-50% – 1st LED is ON white, 2nd LED is blinking. Other LEDs are OFF
  • 50-75% – 1st + 2nd LEDs are ON white, 3rd LED is blinking. Other LEDs are OFF
  • 75-99% – 1st + 2nd + 3rd LEDs are ON white, 4th LED is blinking. Other LEDs are OFF
  • 100% – All 4 LEDs are ON white

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Factory Reset:

Press and hold “-” and “+” buttons for 10s to initiate factory reset. The speaker will revert to factory settings and all previously paired devices will be deleted. Status LED will blink alternating between blue and red while resetting.

DUT Mode

If the speaker is charged but not turning ON, or if is not functioning properly, it may be in DUT mode. Hold the “O” button for 12s to exit DUT mode and reset the speaker.
