HOW TO INSTALL

Mark star points of the pattern you want.

Drill holes vertically of the points you marked.

Insert fibers about 10cm into the board Then fix with hot melt adhesive or glass cement.

Straighten and tied up fibers in small bundles to avoid tangled. Better to count the quantity and the length of the fiber in advance before insert them into holes, and mark which bunch use at which area.

Connect and power on to test. Then clip off the excess length from beneath with nail clippers and finish installation.
NOTICE:
- Make sure where you want to place the light engine. It should be a place can get power easily, convenient for maintenance and keep ventilated.
- Fiber length you need=length from LED light engine to the star point + 30-40cm
- For some slight tangle that you may cannot avoid. For the fiber length to insert into LED light engine.)
- Do not press or tread on the fiber while installing
REMOTE CONTROL
- Voice function is on, and when the voice function is turned on, the light source follows the sound and the speed of the rhythm to change
- The voice function is off and when the voice function is turned off, the light source is a conventional change mode.
- IN NORMAL MODE: The dynamic effect is to adjust the speed faster, the atatic effect is to adjust the brightness to brighten
- VOICE MODE: the button is to adjust the voice sensor sensitivity, sensitivity becomes high

NO, it is only sound control function. if you want twinkle like , 10w/16w twinkle& music mode in my shop will meet your demand.
Does this power on when plugged in or does it have to be powered on with an app or remote?
You have a remote. That will power it on. I have mine connected to a smart plug that will automatically turn it on once I turn on the plug.
Can I add more strands with the 500 kit? I was thinking of having 800 stars in total.
We’re afraid not, diameter of black16W engine port is 20mm, holding maximum 558pcs 0.03in fibers. recommend dual-port 16w twinkle & sound-activated with 800stars,
Is there a power cord that I can buy that comes from the fuse box?
Package include AC wall adapter and DC12V car plug, you can cut off socket adapter converter or car cigarette lighter, connect plug cord the positive and negative terminals, but note input voltage of light engine is DC12V/AC86-265V and 1.5A current.
Do I have to play music through the app or can I just use iTunes or Spotify?
There is no app…it responds to sound especially bass. I put it in a Nissan max and love the purchase worth every penny! They dim or brighten speed up and slow and all different effects using the remote the remote is chincy especially when it’s cold but if you take the battery our and warm it up works perfectly
How many units do I need for a 43sq ft tray?
It depends on client demand actually, more optic fibers, more stars lighting effects. and we suggest client to install every 10-12 strands per square foot.
I am looking for 2000 pieces to install in about 300 sq. ft ceiling. Can I buy 3 or 4 items and can they all be in sync with one remote and one app?
Yes, our all fiber optic kits is Remote and APP control via Bluetooth, achieving one remote and App control several light kits. and if you want individual control, it is also do that by APP.
Can this be added to hardtop convertibles?
If it has a headliner.
Can you make this product be battery operated and charged with USB so that it does not need to be plugged in all of the time?
No, it can’t. the light source is not battery supply, need connect power by adapter during working.
Does this product have UL certification?
No sure.
Can I mix and match? Two 550 pcs twinkle with meteor (16w) and one 860 pcs twinkle without meteor (20w) and operate with single remote/app.
Yes, you can. one remote/APP can control those 3set, but two kinds fiber light kits have different remote and will react in the light of original remote board function, APP control can control all set.
What is the length of the power adapter cord?
length of wall adapter is about 120cm and car plug is 2meter long.
Is it possible to plug this into a DC battery for power?
Yes, package includes AC86V-265V wall adapter and car DC12V cigarette lighter plug, to plug into DC battery for power.
