COMPONENTS & HARDWARE
FIXTURE PREP
POWER FEED / NON-FEED: J-BOX, TBAR-J-BOX GRID, TBAR-J-BOX-HANGER / LAG
SCREW
- Install (4x)6-32 x 1/2” Counter Sunk screws and assembly B onto fixture ends.
- Route feed cable through the hole shown.
- a: From feed side snap strain relief around cable .
- b: Push down strain relief into plate
Install (4x)6-32 x 1/2” Counter Sunk screws and assembly B onto fixture
ends.
Number of lead wires will vary based on light engine and control circuit selection. See wiring diagram on page 12-13 for connection reference.
Fixture order length is based on length between suspension points.
NOTE: If feeds are on both sides of fixture, repeat feed side
installation on opposite side
- Determine the BOOM location and positioning on desired surface before mounting. Make any necessary reference markings to indicate placement (see page 6 for TBAR-J-BOX-GRID mount).
- Cut 2 holes in the ceiling at desired location for junction box mounting per size of junction box (see page 4 for J-BOX or page 8 TBAR-J-BOX-HANGER mount).
- Determine the BOOM location and positioning on desired surface before mounting. Make any necessary reference markings to indicate placement (see page 10 for LAG SCREW mount).
SUSPENSION MOUNT: J-BOX
POWER FEED / NON-FEED
- Install the junction box per original manufacturer’s instructions.
- Feed wire from the power supply into the mountedjunction box.
- Connect supplied Wagos to the lead wire from the power supply.
- Mount the cross bar into the junction box on feed side.
- Using a feed canopy slide the braided cables through the cable grippers and 2 piece cable coupler, leaving the canopy between the 2 coupler pieces.
- Screw the top part of the coupler into the crossbar’s 1/4”-20 screw from feed side.
- If fed from both ends, repeat steps above

- Mount the cross bar into the junction box on non-feed side.
- Using a non-feed canopy slide the braided cables through the cable grippers and 2 piece cable coupler, leaving the canopy between the 2 coupler pieces.
- Screw the top part of the coupler into the crossbar’s 1/4”-20 screw from non-feed side
- Mount fixture by inserting braided cable into the gripper on the fixture. Repeat on the other side.
- Take the power cable from the BOOM, feed through the canopy.
- Connect to the Wago, within J-BOX.
- Number of the lead wires will vary based on light engine and control circuit selection.
- Make sure the fixture is at the desired height and is level. Allow for 2”-4” of non-stripped wire for adjustments before trimming
- a: Snap on the wire strain to the BOOM fixture’s lead wire and push into the canopy.
- b: Screw in the bottom piece of the couplers for both feeds, this should pull the canopy toward the ceiling’s surface

- Mount fixture by inserting braided cable into the gripper on the fixture. Repeat on the other side.
- Screw in the bottom piece of the couplers for both feeds, this should pull the canopy toward the ceiling’s surface.
- Pick a location on TBAR to mount TBAR-J-BOX
- Install the junction box per original manufacturer’s instructions.
- Feed wire from the power supply into mounted junction box and connect supplied Wagos to the lead wire.
- Mount the cross bar into the junction box on feed side.
- Using a feed canopy slide the braided cables through the cable grippers and 2 piece cable coupler, leaving the canopy between the 2 coupler pieces.
- Screw the top part of the coupler into the crossbar’s 1/4”-20 screw from feed side.
- If fed from both ends, repeat steps above

- Push upward on the highlighted tab as you squeeze the bottom tab to open up the TBAR clip.
- Wrap the two parts of the clip around the TBAR, then push inward on the highlighted tab to snap them together in place
- Install the TBAR-non-feed per original manufacturer’s instructions.
- Slide the braided cables through the cable grippers and 2 piece cable coupler, leaving the canopy between the 2 coupler pieces.
- Using a non-feed canopy slide the braided cables through the cable grippers and 2 piece cable coupler, leaving the canopy between the 2 coupler pieces.
- Screw the top part of the coupler into the crossbar’s 1/4”-20 screw from non-feed side
- Mount fixture by inserting braided cable into the gripper on the fixture. Repeat on the other side.
- Take the power cable from the BOOM, feed through the canopy.
- Connect to the Wago, within J-BOX.

- Snap on the wire strain to the BOOM fixture’s lead wire and push into the canopy.
- Screw in the bottom piece of the couplers for both feeds, this should pull the canopy toward the ceiling’s surface

SUSPENSION MOUNT : TBAR-J-BOX GRID
POWER FEED / NON-FEED
- Pick a location on TBAR to mount TBAR-J-BOX HANGER
- Install the junction box per original manufacturer’s instructions.
- Feed wire from the power supply into mounted junction box and connect supplied Wagos to the lead wire.
- Mount the cross bar into the junction box on feed side.
- Using a feed canopy slide the braided cables through the cable grippers and 2 piece cable coupler, leaving the canopy between the 2 coupler pieces.

SUSPENSION MOUNT: LAG SCREW
NON-FEED: cannot be used with J-BOX and TBAR installations.
Using a non-feed canopy slide the braided cables through the cable grippers and 2 piece cable coupler, leaving the canopy between the 2 coupler pieces
Mount fixture by inserting braided cable into the gripper on the fixture.
Repeat on the other side.
Screw in the bottom piece of the couplers for both feeds, this should pull the
canopy toward the ceiling’s surface.
Make sure the fixture is at the desired height and is level. Allow for 2”-4”
of non-stripped wire for adjustments before trimming
FINISHING FIXTURE
POWER FEED / NON-FEED: J-BOX, TBAR-J-BOX GRID, TBAR-J-BOX-HANGER / LAG
SCREW
- Adjust level before trimming excess braided cable on feed side. Use Knipex Air Craft cable cutter – Not included with shipping.
- Using the supplied cable stays, secure the power feed to the suspension cable (a-c).

FINISHED
- Fixture complete
