Welcome to use “GVM-SD80D”, this product is specially designed for senior photography enthusiasts. The product is suitable for live streaming / outdoor / studio photography, and also for YouTube video shooting. The main features of the product are:

1. Stepless adjustable Lighting Effects, Brightness/CCT can be controlled at will. The color temperature range is 2700K~7500K. There is a high color render index CRI97+ COB lamp bead in the light. It helps to restore and enrich the color of objects, providing you with natural and vivid shooting effects.
2. In App control mode, you can easily control the light by your IOS and Android intelligent mobile device. Meanwhile the light supports Bluetooth mesh networking, and can be controlled in groups with GVM brand devices that support mesh networking.
3. It has LCD display and a stable system, which supports multiple angels rotation and can effectively control light. It is also equipped with a standard lampshade. After installation, it makes the lighting become softer. Customized control fills the light, allowing you to easily and easily shoot the desired results.

USE AND PRESERVATION

Do not put the light in a highly humid, strong electromagnetic field, direct sunlight, high-temperature environment. If the light is not use for a long time, please disconnect the power.

• Clean : Before cleaning,please unplug the power plug. And use wet cloth rather than any detergent or soluble liquid, avoiding damaging the surface layer.
• Power : Make sure the power is in the demanded range, not too high or too low. Correctly load the battery, in order not the damage to the machine.

PRODUCT STRUCTURE ANALYSIS

INSTALLATION METHOD

1. Rotate the lamp holder fixing handle clockwise to install and fix the lamp on the bracket, and turn it counterclockwise to unload.
2. Loosen the angle fixing handle, adjust the angle of the spotlight you need, and then tighten the angle fixing handle
3. Insert the Bowens Mount of the standard cover into the Bowens Mount of the lamp correspondingly, and then turn it slightly clockwise to install the standard cover on the light. Push the Bowens Mount removal buckle to the upper right and turn the standard cover counter clockwise to remove the standard cover.
4. Connect the power cord to supply power.
5. Outdoor using can be powered by a suitable battery

DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT CONTROL KEYS

1. Power input interface

2. Switch:
   Turn the switch to the position, the video light uses the DC input power supply;
   Turn the switch to the position, and the video light uses battery power.

11. Press and hold for 2 seconds to release, reset Bluetooth;

12. Press and hold the button for 10 seconds and release it to restore the system default settings.

FUNCTION INSTRUCTION & INSTRUCTION FOR USE

LCD Display:
Displays the current brightness, light mode, light parameters, and scene number of the light

Adjust brightness (INTENSITY): Range 0%~100%

• In white light mode, short press the composite knob to quickly change the brightness.
• Press and hold the compound knob for 2 seconds and then release it to switch to brightness adjustment, rotate the compound knob to adjust the brightness.
• In APP mode, connect to the APP and adjust the brightness through the APP.

Adjustable color temperature (CCT): Range 2700K~7500K

• Press and hold the compound knob for 2 seconds and release it to switch to color temperature adjustment. Rotate the compound knob to adjust the color temperature.
• In the APP mode, connect to the APP and adjust the brightness through the APP.

Adjust Scene Light Effect (SC): Range 1~8

• The scene mode has 8 scenes:
  • Lightning,
  • CCT Loop,
  • Candle,
  • Bad Bulb,
  • TV,
  • Paparazzi,
  • Explosion,
  • Breathing Light
• Short press the compound button to switch the light mode to light effect mode → long press the compound knob for 2 seconds and release it to switch the light effect brightness and light effect rate adjustment items → rotate the compound knob to select the scene mode and adjust parameters such as brightness, color temperature, time, etc.
• In light effect mode, short press the composite knob to quickly change the scene.
• In APP mode, connect to the APP and adjust the scene through the APP

Register an account

• There may be a delay in sending the verification code, and the speed of delivery depends on the email server you use;
• Log in after registering with your email (Figure 1); Some email servers may recognize our verification emails as advertising, please check your blocked email inbox.

Add device

1. Before adding a device, please make sure that you have turned on the Bluetooth and network data functions of your mobile phone, and reset the Bluetooth of the lighting device;
2. On the “My Devices” page, click the “Add Device” button to search for nearby Bluetooth lighting devices that have been turned on, and select the device to be connected for network connection.(Figure 2)

Android system requires location permission to be enabled to connect devices using Mesh technology, we will not collect any location information from you during this process.

Device management

1. After successfully adding your lighting equipment, your equipment will be displayed in the “My Equipment” list; (Figure 3 )
2. Click the device bar to enter the device control. (Figure 4)

SIMPLE FAULTS AND TROUBLESHOOTING METHODS

Turn on light is off

| Whether the connection between the lamp and the power supply is normal.| Make sure the adapter plug is making good contact
When using lithium battery for power supply, make sure that the battery does not have ” low power” protection.|

U s i n g t h e p r o d u c t a f t e r charging the battery

After the App enters the Add Device, the device Bluetooth cannot be searched

Check whether the device is turned on normally and whether it has been bound by others.

| Normal steps:

①The mobile phone has the Bluetooth and network data

functions enabled, and the Android system needs to e n a b l e t h e l o c a t i o n permission;

②Reset the device Bluetooth.

App failed to connect to the device network

| Check whether the device is turned on normally and whether it has been bound by others; check whether the Bluetooth and network conditions of the mobile phone are in good condition.|

Retry the connection after resetting the device Bluetooth and restarting the app.

The device cannot be searched after being removed from the app|

Whether to remove the device when the device is offline or in poor network conditions.

After resetting the device’s Bluetooth, search again to add the device.

The device click in the APP cannot enter the control

| Check if the device is online (a small green dot is displayed); if it is offline, follow the steps of the network connection failure step to check.| Restart the device, wait for 5 seconds, it can be controlled when it is displayed as online; reset the device’s Bluetooth, and add the device to the device list again.

PRECAUTIONS

• Please use the matching power adapter to power the product, do not use the power adapter with different output voltage parameters to light the product;
• The video light is not waterproof, please use it in a rain-proof environment.
• The video light is not anti-corrosion, please don’t let the light come into contact with any corrosive liquid.
• When you use the light, make sure that the light is placed firmly to prevent the it from falling and being damaged.
• When the light is not used for a long time, please turn off the power of it to save energy consumptuon.
• Over temperature protection reminder:
• When the temperature exceeds the set protection temperature, the over-temperature protection program is executed, the brightness is reduced to 10%o, and flashes at a frequency of 1 second, that is, on for 1 second and off for 1 second.
