PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE

When using any electric appliance, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, including the following:

1. Make sure the power used is as indicated on the rating label.
2. Always place the item on a dry, flat surface, out of the reach of children.
3. Close supervision is required when any appliance is used near to children.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
5. Always unplug the appliance before installing, removing or placing components.
6. Before each use, check that the accessories used are not damaged. Do not use the accessories of the first signs of fragility or damage.
7. Before each use, make sure that the accessories used are properly positioned.
8. Never switch the appliance on with an insufficient level of water.

SAFETY INSTCUTIONS

1. Do not exceed the maximum level of water.
2. Do not forget to unplug the appliance after each use.
3. The appliance gets very hot during steam cooking and may cause burning in the event of contact.
4. Beware of the hot steam which rises from the bowl and water reservoir during cooking and when you remove the lid.
5. To avoid burns when using vapours functions, UNPLUG the unit after the end of the cycle and WAIT 10 MINUTES before removing the lid.
6. Always use the handle to lift the lid and steam basket.
7. Do not tilt or tip the unit or attempt to empty or fill it while it is operating.
8. Do not move the product during use, it can be hot.
9. Leave the appliance to cool for approximately 10 minutes between two consecutive uses.
10. Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
11. This appliance is intended for household use only.
12. Always unplug the appliance and leave it to cool before cleaning.
13. Empty the water tank before storing the appliance.
14. Never immerse the appliance in water.
15. Never use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug.

UNIQUE FEATURES

Memory function
The appliances will automatically record the parameters last time set by the user, eliminating the trouble of re-set for every use.
Pre-set function:
Can pre-set warming, sterilizing and steam cooking functions in advance 15 hours which is environmental protection and energy saving.

HOW TO USE SPECTRA MULTI BOTTLE WARMER

Bottle warmer function

1. Place the bottle in to the basket B and then put the basket in the bottle warmer C.
2. Put the right amount water into the housing tank.
   *The water height is same height as the milk in the bottle. But could not be over the MAX level on the basket indicated.
3. Put on the lid A.
   

Starts Bottle warmer function

1. Press the button Button Icon and press the function button .
2. Choose the warmer function .
3. The LCD will display the time . The default time is 3 minutes.
4. You can also press the “increase” + and “decrease” – button to choose the time As you need.
5. 3 seconds later, other features are not displayed, only warmer function, that the warmer begins to work, time begins to countdown.
6. Beep to remind the warming finishing.
7. Beware of hot water vapour during and after the function. Wait a few minutes before removing the lid to prevent the risk of burns.
8. Power Off and unplug the warmer after use.

Note :

• The water could not exceed the Max level.
• Make sure to put the bottle into the basket and then put into the housing tank.
• The MAX time can adjust for 30 minutes.
• Always check the temperature of the milk before giving milk to the baby.

• It may vary depending on the operating environment and milk temperature and milk capacity.

Steam cooking function

1. Pour the right water amount 170m1 into the housing tank. (not exceed the Max level as indicated in the housing)
2. Place the foods into the basket, then Put the basket into the housing tank and then to put the lid.

Basket handle position

• The basket handle toward the back and put it into the housing tank.
  

Start the steam cooker function

1. Press the button and press the function button .
2. Choose the steam cooker function.
3. The LCD will display the time. The default time is 20 minutes.
4. You can also press the “increase” ± and “decrease” — button to choose the time you prefer.
5. 3 seconds later, other features are not displayed on LCD, only steam cooking function, which the machine begins to work, the time display the remaining minutes still need.
6. When steam cooking is completed, the appliance beeps.
7. Beware of hot water vapor during and after the function. Wait a few minutes before removing the lid to prevent the risk of burns.
8. Power Off and unplug Spectra multi warmer after use.

Note :

• The food must be put into the steaming basket and don’t put into the housing directly.
• Always “Set up lid” because water boils to avoid burn.
• Do not steam the food for too long time. Please refer to the Food Cooking Time table as below before start cook.
• Always check the temperature of food with heat sensitive spoon before giving it to the baby.

Cooking time table (Steam)

Sterilizer function

1. Fill in 40m1 water into the housing tank.
2. Place the basket (B) into the housing.
3. Put the bottle upside down into the basket.
4. Set up lid.

Start sterilizer function

1. Press the button and press the function button lip .
2. Choose the sterilizer function.
3. The LCD will display the time. The default time is 10 minutes; (the Max Time is 20 minutes).
4. You can also press the “increase” + and “decrease” — button to choose the time as you prefer.
5. Seconds later, other features are not displayed on LCD, only sterilizer function, which the machine begins to work, the time display the remaining minutes still need.
6. When sterilizer is completed, the appliance beeps.
7. Beware of hot water vapor during and after the function. Wait a few minutes before removing the lid to prevent the risk of burns.
8. Power Off and unplug the Spectra multi warmer after use.

Note:

• Sterilizable items include bottles, pacifiers, and baby’s small utensils.
• When need to sterilize bottles and containers, the open must be upside down and firstly Need to put into the basket before into the housing.
• Be aware of the temperature when take out the lid and feeding bottle.
• Be careful removing the lid when the program is finished, because you can burn your hands and decrease the effectiveness of the sterilization.

Pre-set function

1. You can pre-set the warmer, sterilizer, steam cooker three functions.
2. The appliance can automatically start the work of the appointment time set.
3. Follow the guidelines in front of warmer, sterilizer and steam cooker functions 3. Start the pre-set function.

Start pre-set fuction

1. Press the button and press the function button .
2. Choose the pre-set function.
3. LCD will display the time. The default time is 10 minutes.
4. You can also press the “increase” + and “decrease” — button to choose the time you prefer (If you pre-set 300mininutes, it is working after 5 hours).
5. Each time period is incremented or decremented according to 10 minutes.
6. 3 seconds later, the pre-set function and the function you want to pre-set are displayed on LCD, that the machine begins to work, the time display the remaining minutes still need.
7. When the appliance enter into the pre-set mode, screen will automatically enter into power saving mode, Press any bottom to see the screen again.
8. Can pre-set in advance 15 hours.
9. When the pre-set times is done, then the appliance will start the job automatically.
10. When the function is completed, the appliance beeps.

MAINTENANCE

Cleaning

The accessories may be washed with a sponge in soapy water. Use a damp cloth to clean the base unit.

Note:

• Clean the appliance after each use.
• Always unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool before cleaning.
• Never immerse the motor unit in water.
• Do not use abrasive products. Never pour bleach or chemical sterilizing solutions/tablets into the appliance.
• Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids (such as gasoline, acetone or alcohol) to clean this product.

Descaling

1. Pour 40m1 of water and 30m1 of water vinegar (6-8% acetic acid) into the heating plate.
2. Leave the solution in the heating plate until the limestone has resolved. The process Take about 20 minutes. (When descaling, do not put the plug in the wall socket).
3. Empty the heating plate, thoroughly rinse it and wipe it with a soft cloth.

How to remove water spots and lime scale
When you use the warmer and sterilizer, small spots may appear on the heating plate in the base . This is lime scale that is building up. The harder the water; the faster limestone builds up. Descale the warmer and sterilizer once a week to ensure that it continues to work effectively. The frequency of descaling depends on how much limestone is building up.

Storage

1. Before you store the appliance should be emptied host of water.
2. Before storing the product, ensure that all parts are clean and dry.(see “Cleaning” chapter)
3. Do not use the machine long in the sun, prolonged sun exposure, in order to avoid yellowing Material accelerated aging.

This product is warranted by Uzinmedicare Co., to the original retail purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period of 1 years. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, unauthorized modification, or connection to an improper power supply.
