The NM 868 massager is intended for targeted treatment of the neck and shoulder area. The pleasant vibrating massage has two levels of intensity. The massage can be enhanced with heat treatment. The appliance can also run on batteries so that you can use it anywhere away from the mains.

CAUTION
Make sure that the maximum operating time of 15 minutes is not exceeded.

Using the power supply unit

  1. Insert the power supply unit plug into connection 5 on the control unit.
  2. Plug in the power supply unit.
  3. Place the massager around the neck so that it has a sufficient hold on the shoulders.
  4. Press the MASSAGE button 3, to switch on the massage function. The appliance starts working straight away at high intensity. Press the MASSAGE button 3 twice to change to massage intensity to a lower level. Press the MASSAGE button 3 once again to switch the appliance off.
  5. Press the HEAT 4 button to switch on the heat function. The LED indicator lights up. To switch the heat function off, press the HEAT 4 button again.
  6. Guide your hands through the hand straps 4 on right and left sides. By pulling on the straps you may stabilize the device in its position and adjust the massage intensity (pulling more stronger increases the massage intensity)
  7. After 15 minutes of constant use the device will switch off automatically.

NOTE
The massage intensity declines when the heat function is switched on.

Using with batteries

Changing the batteries
Undo the zip on the back of the appliance to get into the battery compartment

  1. Remove the lid of the battery compartment. Insert four batteries (1.5 V, type AA LR 6). Remember to insert the batteries as indicated in the diagram in the battery compartment. Replace the battery compartment lid and do the zip-up again carefully.

Proceed as described in Using with the power supply unit.

NOTE
You can use the heat function in addition to the massage even if you power the device with batteries. However, we suggest using the heat function only in conjunction with the power adapter, because of the higher power demand.
