Conformity
The Pulsar Basic meets the requirement for mechanical safety (DIN EN 60335-2-80).
The full text of the EU Declaration of Conformity is available at the following Internet address: https://www.inventer.eu/downloads/
The Pulsar Basic is an innovative exhaust fan with a contemporary design. It improves the basic ventilation in your rooms and enables continuous ventilation to reduce humidity and odours in wet rooms (WC/bath/shower room/ laundryroom).
The Pulsar Basic can be used in conjunction with the aV100 wall mounting set, or in another wall mounting sleeve with diameter 100… 140 mm can be installed (check valve must be retrofitted on site in this case). Installation is possible in ceilings and exterior walls. The Pulsar Basic allows connection directly to the 230 V mains or via a power supply unit.
To ensure that the Pulsar Basic does not interfere with other ventilation and that its function is not interfered with by other ventilation processes, it must always be installed in its own wall sleeve. There must be no obstacles or other objects in it that could interfere with the airflow. To avoid any condensation that may occur in wall sleeves (in winter), they must be insulated at the points where they pass through unheated areas, such as cold attics.

Abbildung 1: Exhaust fan Pulsar Basic
2.1 Functions
Depending on the electrical connection, the Pulsar Basic can ventilate the room either continuously (continuous ventilation at 30 m³/h and via sensors) or on demand (exclusively via sensors, no continuous ventilation). The integrated sensors enable the following functions:

  • Controlled by light incidence:
When the lighting conditions change, when light is switched on, the shadows change or when a person enters the room, the fan starts with an air flow rate of about 60 m³/h. The fan is then switched on again. In addition, a time overrun is activated. After being switched on, the Pulsar Basic continues to run until the end of the overrun time and then, depending on the connection, switches back to an air flow rate of 30 m³/h or off. The time lag is preset to 15 minutes and cannot be changed.

  • Controlled by humidity sensor (automatic humidity monitoring):
If the humidity in the interior increases very sharply within a short period of time, for example when the shower is in use (peak humidity loads), the air flow rate rises to a maximum of 110 m³/h.
