MOB MO6342 Glass Chess Set Board Game
USER MANUAL
Number of players
Two players play against each other; one side uses white chess pieces and the other uses the black chess pieces.
Chessboard
The chessboard is a square, consisting of 64 small squares with 8 horizontal and vertical squares, with black and white squares staggered in colour. The chess pieces are placed in these squares to move, and the lower left corner of each player is a white square. The 8 vertical grids are represented by the letters “abcdefgh” The 8 horizontal grids are represented by the numbers “12345678 “respectively. In this way, the coordinates of each grid can be identified in the form of letters + numbers.
Chess pieces
There are 32 pieces, divided into two groups, black and white, each of which is held by both players, each with 16 pieces. Each side configuration: 1king, 1Queen, 2bishops, 2 Castles, 2knights, 8*pawn
Rules of the game
White moves first in the game, and each time one moves, both sides will play rounds of chess until the game is over.
King
You can move horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, and you can only move
one space at a time
Special: If the position to be moved to is attacked by the opponent’s
chess piece, the king cannot move to this position or move in to check
Queen
Can move horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, the number of squares she can move not limited, but you can’t move over the top of other pieces.
Bishop: Can only move diagonally, there is no limit to the number of squares, but you can’t move over the top of other pieces.
Knight
In each move can go horizontally or vertically-one square, and then two squares vertically or horizontally one square, you can jump over other pieces with this piece.
Castle (Rook)
You can move horizontally and vertically but not diagonally. The number of squares you can move is not limited, except for the case of the king’s and castle move, you can’t jump over other pieces.
Pawn
You can only move straight forward, and you can only move one square at a time Special: When taking the first step, you can move one square or two squares forward
Passing pawn
If the opponent’s pawn plays the game for the first time and advances two squares straight, the pawn pieces can take an opponent’s piece when the opponents piece is diagonally forward 1 square from the players pawn whose turn it is.
As shown in the figure
Original position — the black soldier advances two squares straight — the white soldier leans into the robe — -eats the passing soldier
King rook translocation
In each game, both sides have a chance to move the dynasty two squares in the
direction of the rook, and then the rook passes the king and is placed on the
square next to the king. The king-car translocation is divided into “long
translocation” and “short translocation” according to the left and right. As
shown in the figure:
Short translocation / Long translocation
Under the following circumstances, the king piece cannot be transposed temporarily
- There is a chess piece blocking the king and the rook.
- The king is being killed by the opponent
- The position the king passed or reached was attacked by the opponent’s piece.
Pawn promotion
When any pawn reaches the opponent’s bottom line, the player must promote the pawn into a chess piece among a Castle, Knight, a bishop or a queen
The rule of taking pieces
If the player moves to the position where there is an opponent’s piece, the
opponent’s piece will be captured and the square will be occupied.
Special: The rule of moving and capturing pawns is straight forward and
diagonally. If there is an opponent’s pawn in one square of the pawn, the pawn
can capture the pawn and occupy the square.
Kill
If a pawn can kill the opponent’s pawn in the next step according to the rules
of move and capture, it is called attacking the opponent’s pawn
When the king of one side is killed by the opponent’s pawn, this wins.
