FIRST START-UP AND PAIRING

  1. Remove both earphones from the charging box and remove the stickers protecting the earphones‘ charging pins (3).
  2. Switch the earphones on by pressing and holding the multifunction button (2) on both earphones.
  3. The earphones will switch on and pair with each other. Once the LED (1) starts to alternate between flashing blue and red, the earphones are ready for connection to Bluetooth.
  4. Open Bluetooth settings on your device and search for „Niceboy HIVE Podsie 3“ in the list of available devices.
  5. Successful pairing is indicated by a sound. The LED (1) will switch off.
    To reconnect to a device that has already been paired, simply remove the earpho-nes from the box.

SWITCHING ON AND OFF

To switch the earphones on, simply remove them from the charging box, or manually switch them on by pressing and holding both multifunction buttons (2). To switch them off, simply place the earphones in the charging box. They will automatically turn off and disconnect from your device. The earphones are placed in the box correctly when the LED (1) turns red. When the earphones are fully charged, the LED goes out.
To switch the earphones off, press and hold both multifunction buttons (2) for approx. 10 seconds.

MULTIFUNCTION BUTTON – BASIC CONTROLS

  • Press any button once – play/pause, answer call/hang up
  • Press the right button twice – increase volume by one level
  • Press the left button twice – decrease volume by one level
  • Press and hold the right button – next song, reject call
  • Press and hold the left button – previous song, reject call
  • Press any button three times – activate voice assistant

CHARGING

To charge the box itself, plug the charging cable into the USB port (7). The LEDs (5) will flash during charging and turn off once the box is fully charged.

CONNECTING TO THE APP

  1. Download the app by scanning the QR code using your mobile phone, or search for „Niceboy ION“ in the mobile app store and download the app.
  2. Start the „Niceboy ION“ app and register a new account or sign in with your existing account.
  3. Set the password and proceed to „Add device“.
  4. Turn on Bluetooth; nearby devices will be detected based on the strength of the signal.
  5. Press the „+“ button
  6. Wait for connection
  7. If the device was added successfully, „completed“ appears on the screen
  8. Your device is now successfully connected.

Note: Reset the earphones to factory settings before you pair them with any new device and connect them to the Niceboy ION app.

FACTORY RESET

In case of technical issues, reset the earphones to factory settings as follows.

  1. Switch off the earphones, remove them from the list of paired devices and turn off Bluetooth.
  2. Switch on the earphones so that they enter pairing mode. The LED alternates between flashing blue and red.
  3. Press either of the multifunction buttons (2) three times in a row. Successful reset is indicated by a sound. The earphones will switch off.
  4. Place both earphones in the charging box. Once removed from the box, the earpho-nes will automatically turn on and pair with one another. The reset process is now complete.
