PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.
When using the electrical appliance, the fo lb\11/ing basic safety precautions should always be followed.
WARNING – to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons or property:
- Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating as indicated on the product identification plate.
- Do not use this fan with any solid stat e speed control device to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- The appliance is not intended for use by persons including children) 111/with reduced physical, sensory, mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless th ey have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible by their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not leave the fan running unattended.
- Do not operate the product if it is dropped, damaged or showing signs of product malfunction. Do not operate the product with a damaged plug or cord. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, refund or replacement.
- If ii is not working properly, contact a qualified electrician or service center for examination and repair, never try to dismantle ii by yourself.
- Do not immerse or expose the product or flexible cord to rain, moisture or any other liquid. This product should not be used in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtubs, washbowls, swimming pools etc. where the likelihood of immersion or splashing could occur.
- Never install the unit where it could be subject to:
- Heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other products th at produce heat
- Direct sunlight
- Mechanical vibration or shock
- Excessive dust
- Lack of ventilation, such as a cabinet or bookcase
- Un even surface
- Switch off and unplug from outlet when the product is no t in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning . Fully assemble the fan before switching on.
- Avoid contact with moving parts. Do not insert any body parts (e.g. finger) or objects through the grill when the fan is operating.
- Do not cover the grille, or operate in close proximity to curtains, etc.
- This product is intended for normal domestic/household use only.
- Always disconnect the fan when moving ii from one location to another.
- The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the product distributor may cause personal or property hazards or injuries.
- Be sure it is on a stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.
- Do not immerse in water.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent , or similarly qualified person, in order to avoid a hazard.
FEATURES OF THIS PRODUCT
PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
- Assemble the base to th e support pole using the fasteners provided.
- Loosen the height adjustment ring and extend the inner support pole.
- Remove the grille retaining plastic nut from th e mot or head by rotating anti-clockwise.
- Position the fan switch bo dy into the height adjustment pole and tighten it firmly.
- To assemble the safety grille and blade assembly, remove the spinner (by turning it clockwise), then the backing nut (by turning it anticlockwise) from the moto r spindle.
- Place the back safety grille int o position. Ensure the safety grille ?t s il to the locating lugs. If this is done correctly, the safety grille’s carry handle will be at the top.
- Fix the safety grille into position by replacing the locking nut tightly by hand. Do not force the locking nut.
- The groove in the centre of the fan blade aligns with a T-bar on the motor sp idle to ensure correct positioning.
- Fix th e blade into place by gently hand-tightening the spinner anticlockwise onto the end of the motor spindle. The spinner is se lf-tightening do not force it.
- Lift out all backing clips on the front safety grille.
- Place the safety grille into position and secure it by fastening the clips over the outer rin. The screw and nut at the bottom of the grille must be fixed .
OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT
CAUTION:
- Select a suitable location for the fan. Always choose a safe location in accordance to the safety recommendations outlined.
- When placing a fan on a table or shelf, always ensure that the power cord does not hang where it can accidentally be pulled and that the un it cannot accident Do not hang or mount the fan on a wall ceiling.
- Remove the cable tie and unravel the cord set before operation .
- To blow air in one direction and stop oscillation, allow the Desk Fan to move into the desired position and pull the oscillating knob up. To return to a normal oscillating function, press the oscillating knob down.
On/ Off and Speed Control
The ON/Off and Speed is controlled by the rotated Swi tch. 0-The Fan is
switched Off
CLEANING
- Switch off and unplug from the power supply before assembling or disassembling and cleaning.
- Keep the air vents at the rear of the ma in body free from dust or fluff- use a vacuum cleaner to remove these when necessary. Do not probe any opening to remove fluff.
- Fan component parts should be clean ed using mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge. Do not an lbw any water or other liquid to enter the motor housing.
- Thoroughly remove so ap film with clean water
CAUTION : Do not use harsh detergents, chemical cleaners or solven ts as they may damage the surface finish of the fan components.
WARRANTY CARD
Dear customer Thank you for purchasing iBELL Cl product. Your iBELL Cl product is under warranty in accordance with terms and conditions stated herein.
- Your units and components contained therein are warranted against defective material and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.
- To obtain warranty protection, notice of alleged defect must be given promptly upon discovery and warranty card must be presented along with proof of date of purchase to our service personnel at the time of service.
- The company decision on identification of the defects due to faulty/ defective spare parts or faulty workmanship or misuse/abuse shall be final and you shall agree to abide by such decision.
- The defective parts/material shall be replaced with a functionally working equivalent part/ material and defective part/ material will become the property of the company.
( LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY)
- Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, alteration, tempering or failure of the purchaser to follow the normal operating procedure outlined in user manual.
- Defect of damage due to spillage ofliquids, due to insect or wrong use of electrical supply and voltage.
- Normal wear and tear, corrosion, rusting or stains.
- Scratches and damage to outer surtace areas and externally exposed units or parts that are due to normal customer use.
- Claim for damaged /missing parts after seven days from the original date of purchase
- If any part or parts of the unit are replaced with a part or parts not supplied or approved by company or unit has been dismantled or repaired by any person other than authorized technician.
- Product which has serial number removed or tampered
- If the warranty card is being altered, defaced or erased in any manner whatsoever.
- To obtain service, the product must be sent through freight prepaid to iBELL Service Center
