PLEASE FIND A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN FOR INSTALLATION. Please read the instructions before you install and use the luminaire. Retain these instructions for future reference.
GENERAL: ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS MUST BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL AND NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE (N.E.C.) STANDARDS. IF YOU ARE UNFAMILIAR WITH PROPER ELECTRICAL WIRING CONNECTIONS OBTAIN THE SERVICES OF A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN. REMOVE THE TRIM FROM THE BOX AND MAKE SURE THAT NO PARTS ARE MISSING.
WARNING – Risk of fire or electric shock. LED fixture installation
requires knowledge of luminaires electrical systems. If not qualified, do not
attempt
installation. Contact a qualified electrician.
- Risk of fire or electric shock. Installation should have the construction features and dimensions shown in the photographs and/or drawings and where the input rating of the fixture does not exceed the input rating of the luminaire.
- Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.
- To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.
- Risk of Electric Shock: Disconnect power or circuit breaker before installing or servicing. No user-serviceable parts inside.
Note: These instructions do not cover all details or variations in equipment nor do they provide for every possible situation during installation, operation or maintenance.
WARNING DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING.
FIXTURE ASSEMBLY
- Feed the (3) housing wires through one of the three rods.
- Clip the (3) rods onto the Housing; be sure the housing clips are properly engaged onto the rods.
- Feed fixture wires through the tenon pole adapter.
- Slide tenon pole adapter on three rods; be sure the notches face the inside of the tenon pole adapter.
- Tighten the (3) set screws at the tenon pole adapter to secure rods.
POLE MOUNTING
- Make the wiring connections with UL approved connectors, knot the wires for strain relief.
- Tenon pole adapter can fit tenon with 3” or 2 3/8” diameter. Slip tenon pole adapter over tenon. For 3” tenon use shorter (3/8”) tenon set screw and for 2 3/8” tenon use longer (7/8”) tenon set screws to secure the fixture to the tenon.
WIRING
Universal voltage driver permits operation at 120V to 277VAC, 50 or 60Hz.
- Connect the black fixture line to the (L) Live line supply wire.
- Connect the white fixture line to the (N) Neutral line supply wire.
- Connect the green fixture line to the (G) Ground line supply ground.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Be sure fixture temperature is cool enough to touch. Do not clean or maintain while fixture is powered on.
- Clean glass lens with non-abrasive glass cleaning solution.
- Do not open fixture to clean the LED. Do not touch the LED.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Verify the proper line voltage is present and the fixture is wired correctly.
- Check that the fixture is grounded.
