HOW TO OPERATE
- Before first use, please open the battery compartment as the diagram shown, take off the insulating film then cover the battery compartment.
- Single click the switch to turn on, the flashlight outputs at the high brightness level. Click it again, every click on the switch, the brightness level will decreased in sequence until off.
- When the flashlight is on, quickly double click the switch, the output turn to red light.
- When the flashlight is in red light mode, single click the switch, the red light blinks, two times per second. Click again to turn the flashlight off.
- When turned off in the red light mode, still maintain red light output when turned on again, quickly double click turn to white light.
The headlamp contains two led colors and two operation modes including switch operation mode, and wave operation mode.
Switch operation mode
- When reinstalling the batteries, the switch operation mode is activated as the default setting. Press the switch to turn the light on or off, change the brightness level/led color, and switch to the alternative operation mode.
- Under the switch operation mode, single click the switch to turn on the light. The light will output on the high mode and its brightness level will reduce to a lower mode till it turns off by each click. Quickly double click the switch to cycle the output between the white and red LEDs.
- There are two output modes with the red LEDs. Single click the switch to enable the two red indicator LEDs on flash mode which turns them on every two seconds.
Single click the switch again to shut the light off. The light re-lights in the red light mode as before when it is turned on again.
Change operation mode
With the light on, press and hold the switch for more than 1 second to change
the operation mode. The light will flash once when the change has happened.
Wave operation mode
All operations under the switch operation mode are also available in the wave
operation mode. Wave operation mode is used to turn the light on or off. Wave
or swipe your hand 5 to 20 cm in the front of the headlamp to turn the light
on or off. Under the wave operation mode, the light will return to the last
output mode (brightness level & light color) used when it turns on. If there
is no operation for 10 minutes after the light is turned off by wave
operation, the light will automatically be totally switched off for safety
purposes. Quickly wave or swipe your hand in front of the headlamp from one
side to the other once to turn the light on or off for 10 times, the light
will also be totally switched off.
NOTE: Under the wave operation mode, the wave feature is unavailable within 1 second after manual switch operation.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
When replacing the batteries, open the cover of the battery compartment and
remove the used batteries. The “+” sign in the battery compartment will glow
red indicating the installation direction of the batteries.
Insert the batteries as indicated into the battery compartment and then close
the cover.
DANGER
Do not turn the light directly into human eyes. This may cause blindness for
seconds or hurt the eyes permanently.
WARNING
- Ensure that the battery is inserted with the battery poles as indicated by the positive (+) and negative (-) in the battery compartment.
- For long-term storage, please remove the batteries from the light to avoid battery leakage.
- Please do not mix fresh and used batteries, different battery brands or chemistry types.
- Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
WARRANTY
Within 30 days of purchase: Return to retailer from which you purchased for
repair or replacement.
Within 2 years of purchase: Return to Olight for repair or replacement.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, modifications, misuse,
disintegrations, negligence, accidents, improper maintenance, or repair by
anyone other than an Authorized retailer or Olight itself.
