Setting up the work tent
-
The work tents from Rotec all come with a robust carry bag
-
Take the tent out of the carry bag and lay it out on the ground in front of you. The tent does not necessarily have to be set up at the site where t is later needed.
The tent can be easily transported to the location before being weighted down. -
Locate the opening lap (&), which is at the end of the zip and set the tent out so that the opening flap (A) and the four fixation discs (B) re lingo tin front of you (see graphic). Please ensure that the fixation discs with the “short” rods (B1) s on top of the other three fixation discs.
-
Hold the opening flap (8) in one hand and the top “short’ fixation disc (B1) in the other hand.
-
Hold on to the opening flap (4) and at the same time push the “short” fixation disc (B1) upwards while standing up.
The fixation disc are connected to the tent walls and the tent rods and therefore automatically force the rods into their intended position. The “short” fixation disc (B1) now forms the centre of the tent top -
Now push the short fixation disc (B1) al the way through so that the tent top is now stretcher taut.
-
Now push the other fixation discs (B) out towards the tent walls so that the side frames are also under tension.
-
The tent is now finished and ready to be weighted down at the site where it is needed
To do so place one or more suitable objects onto the floor flaps (C) or anchor the tent to the ground using pegs or guy ropes
Taking the work tent down -
To slacken the tension on the rod frame, first pull the fixation discs inwards towards you.
Then relieve the tension at the top of the tent by puling the tent top fixation disc downwards while stepping backwards out of the tent -
Fold the tent together on the ground and put it back into the carry bag.
Instructions regarding cleaning, maintenance, storage and repair of your Rotec work tent
Cleaning
The tent is made of very durable and resilient polyester cloth. Use water only to clean. Do not use any detergents or soap solutions, even when the tent is heavily soiled.
Maintenance
The material of the tent and the fiberglass rods are maintenance free.
Storage
For reasons of hygiene and in order to ensure a long product life, the tent
has to be completely dry before it is returned to the carry bag and put into
storage. If bad or wet weather prevent the tent from drying, then the tent
should be put up again immediately, or within 12 hours at the latest, so that
it is given a chance to dry. Stains can form on the material if the tent is
not allowed to dry properly.
Repair work
Any holes or tears in the tent that may occur while work is being carried out
can be repaired using the tent repair set which is available from TROTEC.
Warning! Please make sure that the safety notice regarding the fixation
discs overleaf is observed at all times!
