⚠ This product should only be used in accordance with the specifications outlined in this manual. Usage other than what has been specified here may result in serious injury. INTENDED USE: This product is intended to circulate the air in indoor living spaces only. This product is not intended for commercial or industrial uses. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

  1. Read all instructions before using this appliance.
  2. The output voltage for the battery charger should not exceed 5V.
  3. For Use Only With 5V/1A Charger.
  4. Carefully discard any plastic wrapping that was used for the packaging.
  5. Do not incinerate this purifier, even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire.
  6. Dispose of the purifier in accordance with the following instructions: Purifiers that are not in use should not be thrown away at will, but should be recycled by professional organizations.
  7. To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse in water or other liquids. Do not use near water.
  8. Avoid contact with moving parts.
  9. Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
  10. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause hazards.
  11. Always use on a dry, level surface.
  12. Do not operate purifier until fully assembled with all parts properly in place.
  13. To reduce the risk of electrical shock and injury to persons, do not use in window.
  14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do NOT play with the appliance.
  15. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this purifier with any solid-state speed control device.

⚠ This purifier contains lithium ion batteries. Do not dispose of the product and batteries with standard household waste. Contact your local recycling center or www.call2recycle.org for locations that accept lithium ion battery drop off.

The 8 hour TWA Ozone for this product is 0.001 ppmv when tested in a 30 m3 chamber. The product complies with the maximum allowable concentration of ozone of 0.050 parts per million by volume (ppmv) in a 24-hour period. The Health Canada Guideline 2010 recommends that the maximum exposure limit, based on averaging time of 8 hours, is 0.020 ppmv or less when tested in a sealed, controlled room approximately 30 m3.

NOTE: THE PLUGGABLE UNIT CONTAINS NO SERVICEABLE PARTS EXCEPT ITS ALLERGEN FILTER (FLT085) AND AROMA PAD FLTMST12PK. THE FILTER AND AROMA PADS MAY BE REMOVED FOR REPLACEMENT.

Before operating

  1. Open the packaging and take out the manual and USB cable, ensure all parts are present.
  2. The unit should arrive with some lithium power. If the power is low, use the USB charger cord to charge the unit. The power control will flash Red when the battery drops below 25% and needs charged.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Directions for use

  1. Turn on by pressing the power control.
  2. Select fan speed. Low speed, white light. High speed, orange light.
  3. Select UVC, a blue light indicates it’s on.
  4. Nightlight will be off when powered on, to turn on, hold UV-C control button for 5 seconds.

Essential Oil Option

  1. A replaceable aroma pad is included in the aroma tray on the back of the unit.
  2. Remove the tray cover.
  3. Remove the oil pad and add a few drops of an essential oil – more or less may be used depending on your aroma strength preference.
  4. Replace the oil pad and tray cover onto the unit.

Charging Instructions
The power control will be slow pulsing red when the battery drops below 25% and needs charged. To charge plug the USB cord into the charging port on the purifier and the other end into a USB wall charger or charging port on a computer, in a car, etc. As the battery becomes charged the power control light will change to a flashing white then a solid white when 100% charged. The unit will run for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes on high speed with UV on, and up to 8 hours in low speed with UV off.

Filter Replacement
The power control will turn to a solid red indicating that it is time to replace the filter. Replace the filter according to the directions then press the power button and hold for 5 seconds to restart the system. Depending on usage the filter will last approximately 6-8 months.

REPLACE FILTER

  1. Turn off the unit.
  2. Twist the filter base on the bottom of the purifier counter clockwise to unlock.
  3. Remove filter and replace with a new one.
  4. Reattach the filter base by twisting clockwise to lock.
  5. Push and hold the power button for 5 seconds to reset the filter change indicator.

CHECK AND MAINTAINING FILTER
Maintain the filter by checking it frequently.
Depending on air conditions you may need to replace it more often.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT try to wash and re-use the filter
IMPORTANT: Use Guardian Technologies GENUINE Replacement Filter only.
NOTE: The purifier is equipped with a UV-C LED. This is not a serviceable or replaceable part.

LIMITED WARRANTY

To the consumer, Guardian Technologies LLC warrants this product to be free of defects in materials or workmanship commencing upon the date of the original purchase. In order to be eligible for this Limited Warranty, an original sales receipt or comparable substitute proof of purchase bearing the date of original purchase is required. Refer to the original product carton or specific product/model page on the Guardian Technologies website for warranty length for your particular model. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of this product from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers product purchased from authorized distributors only. This warranty does not cover Guardian Technologies products that are used outside of the US and Canada as the appliance must be plugged directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet without the use of an adapter.

This warranty applies to repair or replacement of product found to be defective in materials or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from unusual wear, commercial, abusive, unreasonable use or supplemental damage. This warranty does not cover damage from unauthorized repairs or from any use not in accordance with the instruction manual. Defects that are the result of normal wear and tear will not be considered manufacturing defects under this warranty.

If this product should become defective within the warranty period, we will repair or replace any defective parts free of charge. All warranty repairs must be completed by Guardian Technologies LLC. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights (other rights may vary from state to state in the U.S.A.)

To submit product under warranty the complete machine must be delivered pre- paid to Guardian Technologies LLC. Please include complete information including: the problem, the model number of the product, the day of purchase, and a copy of the original sales receipt along with your name, address, and telephone (email optional). Address returns to the attention of: Repair Department, at the address below.
