Charge the Battery

Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. To charge, use the included wireless charger and a USB Type-C adapter (sold separately). Use only Samsung- approved chargers and accessories. Damage caused by use of accessories that are not approved by Samsung may not be covered by warranty.

Activate your Galaxy Watch

The R905U, R915U and R925U are 4G LTE-enabled. Get texts, make and receive calls, even when you leave your phone behind. Consult your wireless carrier for details about activation.

Band adjustment tips

(for models which include the D-Buckle Sport Band)

Open the magnetic buckle

Open the clasp and slide the end of the band.

Note: Gently pull the end of the strap to assist in opening the clasp.

Close the buckle

APPROVED FIRMWARE VERSIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it water resistant?****

Yes! Like many more recent smartphones, the Watch 5 Pro has an IP68 rating, but it ALSO has a 5ATM rating. It can survive being immersed up to 50 metros (approximately 150 ft) deep underwater according to the 5ATM rating. Therefore, it can manage tasks like swimming with ease. In reality, the fitness app has swim-tracking features.

Which Samsung watch is the best?****

Even though it could be improved, future models are likely to do so. It is the best they have.

How do I use a smartwatch to answer the phone?****

The icons on a watch are similar to those on a phone, but they are smaller.

Can you track or find the watch using your smartphone?****

Yes. The Find My Watch option in the Galaxy Wearable app is actually connected to the SmartThings app. Other gadgets, such as SmartTags or your partner’s watch and phone, can also be tracked.

Does it come with a charger for the watch, a cord to connect it in, and a wall charger so that you can use the wall cord to charge it?****

Only the USB charger for the watch is included. However, a USB charging port is not included. that you either need to purchase separately or use an existing item.

What causes the blood pressure functionality to malfunction?****

Because it lacks a feature to measure blood pressure.

Is it possible to swap the silicon band for a metal band?****

Yes, it will accept any 20mm band (Galaxy 5 Pro). It won’t fit as perfectly as the Samsung, but it should still function.

Can facer be used to alter watch faces?****

Yes

Is a new battery available?****

No.

Can earbuds be connected to the watch?****

The Samsung Buds 2 are indeed what I’m using. My wife paired hers with a set of Beats Studio Buds.

Is there an oxygen sensor on it?****

Yes, it does.

Will it display maps when the phone is not nearby?****

Not that I’ve found, anyway. Bluetooth connection is required between the phone and the watch.

When connected via Bluetooth to my Pixel 6 Pro phone, will this non-LTE version of the watch allow me to answer calls?****

Sure, you can.

Can texts on the watch contain images?****

Yes.
