Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Power Connection

1. Connect Eve Play to the power adapter.
2. Connect the power adapter to the power supply.

Step 2: Audio Connection

Option 1: Using RCA Cable

1. Take the included RCA cable.
2. Connect one end of the RCA cable to Eve Play.
3. Connect the other end of the RCA cable to your stereo or amplified receiver.

Option 2: Using Digital Outputs

1. Take the appropriate digital cables for your system.
2. Connect one end of the digital cable to Eve Play.
3. Connect the other end of the digital cable to your system.

Step 3: App Setup

1. Download the Eve app from the App Store.
2. Open the Eve app.
3. Tap “Add Accessory” to start the setup process.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by Eve to complete the setup.

Get started

1. Connect Eve Play to the power adapter and connect it to the power supply.
2. Use the included RCA cable and connect Eve Play to your stereo or amplified receiver. Alternatively, you can also use the digital outputs to connect it to your system.
3. Download the Eve app from the App Store.
4. Open the Eve app and tap Add Accessory. Eve will now guide you through the setup process.
5. If you have already set up another accessory, go to Settings in Eve to add Eve Play to your home.

Connections

• Hi-Fi receivers and other devices can cause delayed output of input signals, resulting in asynchronous playback when using multiple AirPlay output devices.
• Eve Play can take the delay into account ensuring simultaneous and synchronized playback on all output devices.
• To calibrate the audio output automatically to your setup, activate Audio Sync in the Eve app. The delay will be automatically determined using the built-in microphone and synchronized with all other output devices via AirPlay.
• If needed, you can also adjust the delay manually.
