DESCRIPTION
Light/Smoke Manoverboard MOB consists of an aluminum cylinder that internally houses the smoke mixture, with a corrosion-resistant floating plastic float with two signaling lamps, waterproof, with an actuator mechanism. A battery is installed in the float, driven by a glass tube mercury mechanism interconnected to two lamps, which come into operation simultaneously when the equipment is turned from the bottom up, with the beginning of smoke emission. Used for day/night signaling, when activated, it produces dense orange smoke for 15 minutes and light with luminous intensity from two candelas for a period of at least two hours.
COMPOSITION OF THE SMOKE MIX
The smoke mixture is basically composed of: potassium chlorate, lactose, wax, oil, orange pigment, pumice powder, gum arabic, ethanol and water, mixed in convenient proportions.

INSTALATION
Bracket affix to the support with screw, washer, pressure washer and stainless nut, leaving it loose to be able to place the MOB, and when it is in position tighten the nut.
Attach the complete support to the bulkhead of the bridge wing in this
position.
Final position after installed.
After fixing the support on the bulkhead of the wing of the bridge, place the MOB in the holder without the black plastic cover.
After fixing the support and placing the MOB in its cradle, tighten the nut
adjusting its position. Then put the black cap on and it’s ready.|
LIGHTS TEST
Remove the white cover and press the black button at the bottom, and turning
on the lights, the MOB is ready.
Close the white cover and tie the orange 6mm cable to a float of at least 4kg,
according to SOLAS regulations.
