READ ENCLOSED INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE OPENING OR USING THIS PRODUCT.
SAFETY
- WARNING! Not suitable for children under 36 months. Choking hazard – contains small parts. Strangulation hazard – long cords. Adult supervision required.
- CAUTION! Toy contains inaccessible sharp edges. Never attempt to insert fingers into the Coring Unit. Never disassemble the Cutting Unit and Coring Unit. Never open the door of the Coring Unit during coring process. Do not attempt or rebuild the machine if any functional issue found. Please remove all packaging material before giving to children.
- Do not insert Cutie Stix into nose or ears. If a substantial number of Cutie Stix are swallowed, or Cutie Stix are inserted into nose or ears, seek immediate medical attention. Bring some Cutie Stix and the Instructions Sheet with you. Non- food product. Not for human consumption. Toy Only. Use under constant Adult Supervision. Keep young children and animals away from the activity areas there are small parts which could be swallowed.

GET READY
- It is a good idea to open the box and lay everything out in front of you. Keep young children and animals away from the activity area as there are small parts in this kit which could be swallowed.
- Place Threaded Spools onto the Threader Unit.
- Place STIX into the compartments of the main STORAGE BOX. Place JEWELLERY CLASPS and CONNECTORS into drawer.
TIPS: CLEAR THE CUTTING UNIT
- Rotate the BLUE COLLAR 90° counterclockwise and pull the BLUE COLLAR out.
- Tilt CUTTING UNIT to clear chamber.
- Push the BLUE COLLAR in and rotate the BLUE COLLAR 90° clockwise.
CUTTING MINI STIX FOR ADDING DECORATIONS TO STATIONARY AND OTHER PERSONAL
ITEMS

Rotate CUTTER KNOB on CUTTING UNIT to the MINI STIX position.

Insert MINI STIX CUTTING MOULD into CUTTING UNIT.

Insert a MINI STIX into the CUTTING FRAME AREA.
-
ATTENTION: Use the RING STICK to push the MINI STIX into the CUTTING UNIT until it STOPS.

Press the CUTTING PLUNGER down to cut. The cut MINI STIX drops out of CUTTING CHUTE. Repeat steps 4 and 5, if desired.
TIP: Tilt CUTTING UNIT forward to remove any CUTS left in the CHUTE. If the cut piece doesn’t drop out, see
diagram 6. -
When finished cutting, tilt CUTTING UNIT to remove any uncut STIX.
- Why not decorate your note books or personal items with the MINI STIX?
Apply some glue (not included) to your item. Then stick the MINI STIX onto it and leave it to dry completely.
CUTTING MEDIUM STIX FOR MAKING BRACELETS & NECKLACES

Rotate CUTTER KNOB on CUTTING UNIT to the Medium / Large Stix position.

Insert a MINI STIX CUTTING MOULD into CUTTING UNIT.
CAUTION: NEVER insert finger into the CUTTING UNIT. Toy contains an inaccessible sharp edge. -
Insert a MEDIUM STIX into the CUTTING FRAME AREA.

ATTENTION: Use the RING STICK to push MEDIUM STIX into the CUTTING UNIT until it STOPS.

Press the CUTTING PLUNGER down to cut. The cut MEDIUM STIX drops out of CUTTING CHUTE.
Repeat steps 4 and 5, if desired.
TIP: Tilt CUTTING UNIT forward to remove any CUTS left in the CHUTE.

When finished cutting, tilt CUTTING UNIT to remove any uncut STIX. Proceed to CORING, Page 6.
CUTTING LARGE STIX FOR MAKING BRACELETS & NECKLACES

Rotate CUTTER KNOB on CUTTING UNIT to the Medium / Large Stix position.

Remove CUTTING MOULD, if necessary.
No CUTTING FRAME will be used for the LARGE STIX. -
Insert a LARGE STIX into the CUTTING UNIT.
CAUTION: NEVER insert finger into the CUTTING UNIT. Toy contains an inaccessible sharp edge. -
ATTENTION: Use the RING STICK to push LARGE STIX into the CUTTING UNIT until it STOPS.

Press the CUTTING PLUNGER down to cut. The cut LARGE STIX drops out of CUTTING CHUTE.
Repeat steps 4 and 5, if desired.

CORING MEDIUM & LARGE STIX FOR MAKING BRACELETS & NECKLACES
- Select the appropriate BOX SIZE for either a MEDIUM CUT or LARGE CUT.
- Open the STORAGE BOX cover.
- Insert a MEDIUM cut Stix or LARGE cut Stix (example shown is a LARGE).
The direction of the CORE (Centre vs. Lengthwise) is determined by the orientation of the STORAGE BOX to the CORING UNIT.
TIP: Core hole lengthwise on
LARGE HEART to line up correctly for a pendant or necklace.

Close the STORAGE BOX cover.
-
Open the CORING UNIT SAFETY DOOR.
-
Insert the STORAGE BOX into the CORING UNIT for a Centre Core.
-
Close the CORING UNIT SAFETY DOOR.
NOTE: CORING UNIT will not operate unless the SAFETY DOOR is fully closed. Never open the SAFETY DOOR of CORING UNIT during the coring process. -
Press down firmly on the CORING UNIT PLUNGER to cut the STIX.
TIP: For LARGE STIX, pull the plunger up and press down a second time to ensure complete coring.
- Open the CORING UNIT SAFETY DOOR.
- Remove the STORAGE BOX from the CORING UNIT.
- Open the Storage Box cover.
- Remove the cored Medium or Large Stix.
- Use the PUSH ROD, or fingers, to remove the left over core material.
- Store Storage Boxes as shown.
THREADING UNIT FOR MAKING BRACELETS & NECKLACES
- Select THREAD from long end.
- Use safety scissors (not included). Adult supervision recommended. Cut THREAD to MINIMUM recommended length.
- Replace loose end of THREAD into SPOOL slot.
- Rotate the THREADER TUBE up to a 30° angle.
- Arrange cut Medium & Large pieces onto THREADER TUBE in the order of your intended design.

6-1 Insert one end of THREAD through a JEWELLERY CLASP (large end out). 6-2 Tie a double knot or triple knot.
6-3 Pull THREAD into CLASP. -
Push the NON-Clasp end of THREAD through the THREADER TUBE.
- Rotate the THREADER TUBE horizontally.
- Push THREAD through hole at base of THREADER TUBE.
- Take the MEDIUM / LARGE cut pieces nearest the BASE and slide off of the THREADER TUBE.
- Pull THREAD from THREADER TUBE.
TIP: If more CUTS are desired, they can be manually threaded along the entire length of the THREAD.
- Insert one end of THREAD through a JEWELLERY CLASP (large end out).
- Tie a double knot.
- Pull THREAD into CLASP.
- Use safety scissors (not included). Adult supervision recommended. Trim excess THREAD from both ends.
- Snap JEWELLERY CLASPS together to attach around wrist or neck.
