For any combination style lock, it is a good idea to set the combination before installing the safe. We recommend that the combination be set with the DOOR OPEN in order to test the lock combination effectively without locking yourself out.

Clear out the contents of the center console for now, including the factory mat at the bottom of the console.

Remove the 2 bolts at the bottom of the console (keep these as they will be used to install the safe later).

Set the safe into the center console.
a. Place the stainless steel HANDLE SHAPPED bracket into the designated cut out sections at the bottom of the safe.
b. The slots at the bottom of the safe and the handle shaped bracket should LINE UP with the factory holes in the console. -
Using your 10mm fastening device, insert the REMOVED BOLTS from step 3 into the factory holes through the handle shaped at the bottom of the safe (these holes should line up with the factory screw holes at the bottom of the compartment)

Tighten the bolts, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, THIS COULD DAMAGE THE CONSOLE.

Place the two filler panels in the orientation that they came in with the safe, and secure them onto the safe using the double sided tape on the under portion of the brackets.

Re-insert the padding that was removed from the safe before installation.
